The hotel decided your travel time

The hotel located in the travel place, you can easy to find some eating place and close to the bus station
The hotel is located in the famous travel place but there is very silent after 20:00 night, and there is no hotel signal on the street which is very inconvenience to who is the first time to this city.

It was eh.

air conditioning
We stayed Bout 7 days and each day was odd. First they told us didn't have a reservation finally after showing them our Confirmation sever times they agreed to give us a room. Then we had to wait about 45 minutes for a room because at 4 pm they didn't have any open. They have a young girl about 13 who will work with you if you speak English. The rest of the family will not interact with you whatsoever. Also because the hostel is behind there cafe every time you walk outside you need to pass by every family member. I speak Chinese and her father would never look or alknowledge me and always seemed to have a scowl on his face as my boyfriend has said. That made it really hard sometimes to want to leave the room. They do lock the doors at night I don't know at what time but if you would like to stay out late this is not the place for you. Also because it's located within ciqikou there are no lights at night with odd shaped cobblestone which isnt safe. One last thing they ran out of water during our stay and didn't tell its patrons and a squatting toilet is never fun wih no water.

Excellent location, friendly staff

Located in old city quarters, walking street (no car traffic), exiting shopping area
Rooms are adequate, clean and very good value for price. Staff is very friendly and observant, but appart from one receptionist (Yinzi) speaks only very little English. Be sure to get a room with a river view. The small restaurant only serves tea, coffee, soft drinks, beer and wine; but numerous inexpensive and good restaurants are found within a minutes walk. The area in in the old quarter of town on a walking street with only few Western visitors. The hotel is located just across from the Po Lun Temple dating from the Wei Dynasty (535-556) well worth a visit. Due to the lack of motorized traffic the area is very quiet, and the location excellent for families with children. Highly recommended as to value for money and friendliness of staff. If you have heavy luggage there is a bit of a walk from the main street to the hotel, it is however easy to get a porter at the taxi/bus stop, at very little cost.

very old

people were nice and helpful
it is not a 4 star. Very old and very run down. its a place to sleep and they will give you incense at night for the smell--China has a lot of plumbing without drain traps.
