I personally didn't enjoy the stay here. Booked the VIP suite but still disappointed. We were being checked in to the room which got lots of faulty (not working fan, bedside power point and reading light. When we told the staff, they were aware of those problems. But why was it being given to their guests?? Lucky there's another VIP suite available, so we were moved to there. No TV (which we have already expected), dusty furniture (I didn't even dare to open the cabinets), dull looking room (paint is peeling), poor lighting and lots of mozzies at night. Won't consider to return for sure. There are many other heritage designed hotels at this area.

Characterful little spot, close to the edge of the central World Heritage area in a quiet street. There are lots of places in this category in Penang but this is one of the cheaper options that still has a throwback feel.

I just came for a weekend and this was a very value for money option. Easy to get around although they close at night so it's a bit awkward to wake someone up to get back into your room. Very reasonable and the common area is lovely as well.

Overall, the hotel is great and dentrally located. Walking distance to the famous foods, and shopping mall. The room is big and spacious, the only problem is the toilet quite small

Nice little boutique hotel

Stayed one night at Cintra, to get the feeling living in a heritage house. Centered location, near chowrasta market and the famous hameediyah nasi kandar if you look for halal food. Walking distance to heritages sites in Georgetown. I stayed in single room, too small for me. Maybe next time will book the double room. Staff was very friendly (ms mas, if i got the name correctly). She prepared a delicious coffee and toast for my breakfast
