Not worth the price to pay for this level of poor service
Just one night is OK but not worth the price to pay, there are other hotels much lower in cost around the airport.

I had a great stay. I was only here for one night for a really long layover and it did just the job. There are other food options in the neighborhood and a supermarket as well. I was luckily treated to an upgrade which I really appreciated.

Good family hotel near airport.
Older, slightly run down and simple. Decent rooms, nothing fancy. Breakfast not included, buffet costs 88 quai. Nice pool and gym. A selection of various hotel restaurants. Basic Western, small Japanes and fancier Chinese. Very Chinese quiet neighborhood. Nothing to see there. A few simple restaurants and shops that's it. Free shuttle to airport, and 3x daily to town. The only reason to stay is to be close to airport. Or have kids play in outdoor and indoor pools. Or avoid Beijing inner city chaos and stress.

Near the Airport
We stayed in a two story room for about 12 hours during a layover. It was just perfect for us all to get some sleep then host some friends for a few hours. We would definitely use this hotel again in the future.

a flash from the past
food, the bar, the staff
staying there was like a trip in a time machine- to at least 30 years ago: this place was undoubtedly a 4-star hotel when it opened (under the movenpick name). the soviet architecture and bare-bones rooms, plumbing and decor are all rooted firmly in the past. the bedding can only be described as squishy and threadbare; this place is sorely in need of an upgrade. now that it bears the name of china's troubled financial and investment conglomerate, i wouldn't hold my breath. the "free" airport shuttle is a shakedown cruise: "money" and outstretched hand is highly unusual in china where groveling for tips (much less accepting them) is highly unusual.; this was the only english word the driver of the dingy van knew. the dining room was excellent; the bartender was hospitable; the pool pictures looked welcoming (but i was there in january). the rest of the citic is quickly forgettable; move on....

A Relaxing Stay
The quietness, recreational facilities and the breakfast buffet were all that we could have wanted.
We stayed at this hotel before catching a connecting flight the next day. We chose this hotel based on our prior knowledge of the facility and the airport shuttle that was available. Our stay was most relaxing and comfortable. We would stay here again when in Beijing.
