Basic hotel good for very short stopovers, not recommended for more than 2 days
The good: Excellent location, in the middle of the CBD, easy to get around, many good options around, with many highly recommended restaurants along the same street. The studio I stayed in had a well equipped kitchenette complete with stove, pots and pans, knives, and rock and wine glasses. The housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful (a lot nicer than the reception staff). The bad: Very thin walls and floors, I could hear my adjacent neighbours coming and going, and my upstairs neighbours walking around their room in shoes. I could also hear the activities in the alley next to the hotel. My experience: The reception staff are not the most friendly or helpful, depending on who you encounter. There was a female counter staff whom I approached to help call and confirm my airport transfer, which she gladly helped. Then on my last day I had realised I acceidently left 3 pieces of premium cheese in the fridge an hour after checking out, I called up the hotel knowing they usually clean the rooms only 1-2 hours after guests check out, but the male reception staff said food items are usually all thrown out, I asked if he could check with housekeeping and he said ok. A while later I went back to pick up my luggage and the same reception staff who answered my call repeated that all good items are usually thrown out. I asked if I could speak to the housekeeping staff, he replied I could if I liked. The housekeeping staff on my floor were very friendly and a male staff asked if my food items were sealed and I would like to look through the trash. He immediately led me to the trash that was gathered from my floor, where I recognized a bag from my room and found my cheeses. When my pick up seem to be running late, and my group approached the reception, the older male reception staff who just started his shift immediately declared that he was not the on who made the booking so he doesn't know anything. It was the same housekeeping staff who helped me out that assured

I am extremely upset with the behavior of the receptin staff by making a photocopy of my Credit Card without my permission, she explained that she require a copy as deposit, I told her this is personal information and request for the copy back, she REFUSED with an excuse that the paper also got peraonal information! !! WHAT A DOUBLE STANDARD.
