About City Hotel Unio Superior

Description

Oversized rooms with high ceilings and traditional furnishings grace this centrally located hotel. Right in the middle of Pest, a few minute's walk from Andrassy Boulevard, the City Hotel Unio Superior is the classic old-styled hotel common in beautiful old cities like Budapest. The staff is multilingual, the location is amid some of the city's oldest architecture, and Hungarian dishes are available on-site and in several hundred restaurants and cafes that lie just beyond the front door. Business facilities are available on-site, but this is really a hotel for travelers given that most major points of interest can be walked to within 15 minutes. Guests staying in the colder months will find a wine bar close by to help warm them up between sites.

Close to the main highlights of budapest
Central location makes it convenient to most locations by foot. 24 hr minimart across the road.
Food was.not good value. Staff could have.been friendlier. Condition of rooms were not great however room pricing more than make up for some inconvenience. Would stay again. Rrcommended.

Nice hotel in the heart of Budapest
Location, cleanliness, quiet room
I recommend the hotel - it's at a great location and there are a lot of amenities nearby. Room was clean and quiet. The only inconvenience was that instead of a queen bed, there were 2 single beds attached together.

Unio for One
Price, location, quiet
I needed a hotel in a specific location, that is how I found Hotel Unio. It was perfect for my needs. The single room was actually quite roomy. The pictures on their website were very accurate. And the room was exactly as I expected it to look. The staff was very welcoming and nice. My room was next to the elevator but it was very quiet and I actually liked not having to walk far in the hallway. I would stay there again.

Great location, cheap but a bit hit and miss
Large rooms, soft beds (if you like really soft beds), friendly service
Overall it was comfortable and good value, we liked our room though it was not cleaned everyday. The was ok and plentiful and the receptionist was nice enough to print our coach voucher. However, the lift broke down a couple of times so we had to walk four flights of stairs which was okay for us but might be a struggle for others. Also, the wifi coverage was terrible, we could only use it in the lobby and even then it was patchy. Location of the hotel was brilliant, close to the amazing ruin bars.
