Convenient Hotel in the heart of Sydney

Location, location, location
The hotel is not very prominent. It is location in a shop building. No lift. One need to lug the luggage up flights of stairs to reach the reception, and another 3 floors to reach the guestroom. No recommend for people without muscles! However, it is conveniently located in the heart of Sydney City, walking distance to Darling Harbour and the Opera House. It is located right next to Daiso dept store.

I love the hotel because of its location.

Location, convenience, access
It was a short and good one. The room is clean despite the building being not very new. Location is superb and it is plain convenience if one chooses to stay there. The only drawback is having no elevator and the planks could be a little too creaky. Also, the heavy slamming of the neighbours' room doors could sometimes give you a scare. I'd love to have the windows open to allow the cold winter breeze in. Overall, it's a good place to stay at in Sydney if one plans to have a great access to The Rocks and George St. The free shuttle and the Wynyard station are just a walk away so transportation is worry-free. Would stay there again.

Short Stay

Location, Location & Price
My stay as a single was fine. Communal Kitchen & lounge is a great idea although I wasn't there long enough to use them. I found the premises just fine for my short stay and the location was excellent.

Good location, but very small, dingy, & out dated

The only thing going for this hotel is its location. For about $75 dollars a night my husband and I were expecting something more like a best western standard in the states, but instead it was much different. No elevator and we were staying on the 4th floor so had to lug our bags up a ton of stairs. The room had barely enough room to walk around the bed and had the tinest window. Everything was very outdated and had a musty smell with some mold in the shower. The front desk ladies were nice but had zero knowledge of how best to get around (ie. Get to Bondi beach). It's just a place to rest your head with a location close to all the big sydney attractions.

Smelly room

location location comfy enough bed
Luckily I wasn't spending too much time in the room as I walked in and the stench of damp was overbearing. I could have opened a window except for the fact that it opened up on to a smoking area. Didn't bother changing rooms as had to be out quickly and was only going back to sleep. It is overpriced and certainly not 4*, more like 1. Location on the other hand is great.
