Do Not Stay Here
Terrible - the venue was represented as a hotel when in fact it was hostel style accommodation at best.

You get what you pay for

Breakfast included. Close to buses. Staff willing to offer help.
The hotel was quite basic and can have a lot of improvements made very cheaply, even if it is just new shower curtains and a cleaner appearance. The staff were friendly and willing. The hot breakfast was OK and served at a decent speed.

Okay. Big room, but filthy bathroom.

big room, close to Victoria park and open all day
It's okay if you're not that picky and not are planning to stay at the hotel that much. We were there for a festival and only spent a couple of hours every night there. Breakfast was the usual boat. I think that if they make the rooms fresher, clean more, offer som nicer breakfast and tidy up the garden in the back, the would be able to get more money from the guests and a better reputation.

No disturbance, clean and staff were responsive
Be prepared to walk alittle to the nearest tube station and the bathroom is small. But you get what you paid for and room is generally clean and staff were responsive when you have questions. Its definitely a comfortable stay if you are a little tight on budget ;)

Nothing i can mention in a postive way.
Our stay was terrible, unsatisfied, disappointed, shocked. We had aroom in the basement with a musty smell. The showercuratin was full of stains. When we asked twice to chance the showercuratin because it was dirty and had a musty smell, the receptionist answered : you shower with water and not with the showercurtain. I was shocked. We do not used breakfast because there was a lack of hygiene. After we had asked for another showercurtain , they didnot clean the room, no clean towels and they didnot empty the wastebins

budget hotel, but you get what you pay for; not mu

nice staff, multicultural
The room was old with no windows; attached bath tiny. Shower good. No garbage bin to toss things in the entire room. VERY hot, even though it was cold outside. Could be noisy at night, too. In the middle of an Islamic area, so now bars.

Family Run B&B at Roman Road Market

Reasonably Priced, Easy Transport & Good Choice of Local Restaurants
Booked here because of its low price so I gave it a shot. Closest tube station for getting there is Mile End, 10-15 mins to walk there (follow signs to Roman Road Market). It looked like a family business and they were friendly and nice. Room was a bit small and equipment in the room is very minimal. Towel & soap provided + sky tv in the room (if you decide to stay in the room?!) It also had a huge fridge in a small room if you want to consider buying salad / food to cook in the communal kitchen?? Biggest problem is the bathroom it's small and it's like a 20 year-old swimming pool setting... Maneuvering was very tricky as a 6'2" person when using toilet. For budget traveler in London I suggest staying in a hostel for a cheaper rate, much better facilities, and a much better toilet even it's shared.

Nice hotel!

Double bed was comfy, Price was good, Quiet and peaceful.
Very good for the price, a bit too far out of the centre but frequent buses made the journey easy.

Lovely hotel with lovely room but small bathroom

Breakfast, bed
I've stayed here for 4 days with my boyfriend. The hotel is in a great position near (10 min on walk) Bow Road and Mile End underground. The room was lovely but the bathroom was really small (you can't do a shower in it, it's impossible!). By the way the staff was amazing. The breakfast was nice!
