Discover the neighborhoods of Ajman
A rather tiny piece of land compared to its neighbors, Ajman is tucked into the United Arab Emirates as the smallest of the seven. The emirate is working towards getting its own international gateway, but is still relatively easy to reach as it borders Sharjah and is 10km from Dubai, both cities with international airports of their own.
Hotels in Ajman range from budget accommodation to 5-star resorts. Those seeking the most popular area of the city will find themselves in the Corniche. Running along a 16km stretch, shopping and dining is abundant and complemented by views of the Arabian Gulf. Souqs, markets, and malls offer goods from clothing and jewelry from brand name stores to interesting pottery from an Iranian souq.
The land of Ajman is quite an attraction in itself and is celebrated at the Al Naseem Nature Reserve and Al Zorah Nature Reserve. Al Rashidiya Park offers some nature within the city for women and children. Ajman Museum is one of many where you can experience the emirate’s history. And simply roaming around the city, taking in the architecture is a sight in itself.
