This is a clean and good hotel. The service is really good and they help u with everything u ask for. The city tourbus and metro is right across the street from the hotell.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Take the city tour bus around the city. Tou can see all the biggest attractions and go on and off the bus as much as u want. Great way to get around and cost 15 Euro.

The location of the hotel was fanstatic and it is also a major pickup point for tours. Good value for money and when we arrived at the hotel, the staff took time to explain on where to go and how to get to all the tourist attractions in Athens.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: This hotel is 3 stations from Syntagma Square and 4 stations from Acropolis of Athens.

Good hotel near Metro for convenient traveling

Location is wonderful whereby the metro is within walking distance. This sure makes travelling to and fro airport easy and also for the visiting of the tourist sights etc. Reception staff was very pleasant and efficient.

Loved the location as its really convenient. Design of the hotel bar is pretty unique with a fake uprooted tree hanging over the bar! Didnt try the food though so not sure how that was. Rooftop lounge did offer nice views of the acropolis so is a nice place to chill out after all the sightseeing. Hotel was nice to offer a bottle of wine to make stay even more pleasant. Couldn't ask for more.
Restaurant Tip: Take metro to Monastraki, and check out the restaurants row running along the street parallel to the Ancient Agora. They are plenty to choose from. Do not just look at the menu only...do look at how the restaurant staff are interacting with their customers and if its packed with locals. These are signs that its probably a well run establishment. We had to walk out of one just right of the entrance to the Agora. We thought it was a bit quieter and didnt realise the reason for the quietness till the owner/ manager came with a cold aloof face ( after 10mins of waiting) and set our table unwillingly without a single word. Found that to be strange as most greeks we interacted with were pleasant and hospitable. Looking around, we also observed that not many locals were at this restaurant so we decided to leave. The manager saw us and came over and wanted to know why we were leaving. We just told him that he and the rest of the staff were too unfriendly. The next restaurant we chose just left of the entrance to the Agora was a huge contrast. Before we can even indicate for a table, the busy staff came up with a nice smile, greeted and told us to let him have few mins to get a nice table for us. The food and service that followed were just simply wonderful. Check out the fried Calamari and the grilled octopus! Fantastic.

The staff at the classical Imperial were extremely helpful and friendly. They had lots of advice about place to visit and how to get around town. although the views from our hotel window were stunning, the location of the hotel wasn't great, we didn't feel particularly safe walking around the area after dark. The metro station is just across the round about though giving you quick and easy access to the rest of the city.
Restaurant Tip: All of them! Greek food is amazing, the restaurants around the Plaka offer enormous portions and amazing views.

Athens

the hotel was across the street from the Metro which provided good access to sights we visited. This location found it very convienent for transportation to/from the airport. The metro ticket for 2 was $10 Euros and very fast.
9.7
we found the hotel location next to the metro very convienent and easy to use. The daytime and nighttime views from the rooftop pool/ lounge provide great views of the surroundings. We were upgraded to a junior suite and it was fabulous. Athens is a big city and you need to locate yourself close to the metro so that you can use the metro to reach various attractions. We were a short walk to the Omneia Square and the Parliment. The staff was very helpful.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: The hotel was close to the metro and this provide good transportation and provide good connections to attractions in the city. For sight seeing we noticed that there was a sight seeing bus opportunity with narration to most of the Sites you want to visit. The cost was $15 euros per person and stopped and about 12 locations and allowed you to get off and visit ang get back on the bus. I would highly recommend that you consider it for getting around to visit the sites. At the main entrance to the Acropolis you can hire a guide and would highly recommend it. Make sure you walk through the Plaka area near the acropolis with its many shops and restaurants.
