Avignon the comfortable way

Charming, efficient, location
The hotel is perfectly positioned - easy to drive to and park whilst a few minutes walk to the old town and the sites Clean and efficient with very kind staff. We stayed in the old part of the hotel, quirky rooms whilst working perfectly - charming Wonder why they don't make more use of the huge shady courtyard Will return Loved it

A hotel conveniently located in the city

A centrally well located hotel. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Great lobby design.
Very happy with the location of the hotel which is centrally located. Most of the tourist and historic sites are within walking distance. Good and reasonably priced restaurants and shops are all within a 10 minutes walk. The Tuesday morning market is worth a visit for those looking for local products. Convenient car park facilities are available.

Nice comfortable stay in rainy Avignon spring

charme, comfort, cleanliness
We had a good stay at this hotel. The hotel has lot of charme and we were in a nicely renovated and spacious room in the historic section of the building. It was nice to spend time in our hotel room during the unexpectedly cold spring weather. We did not try the restaurant because it was being renovated. Maybe because of the renovation the breakfast buffet was a bit poor for a 4 star hotel (no hot food, eggs, meat or chees).

Great location, the darkest room

The location is great, it is quiet and close to everything. The old building is beautiful.
We were put into some sort of annex, the room was spacious, but very dark, there was hardly any daylight. The bathroom flooded every time we took a shower due to a strange design of the bathtub. We tried to upgrade to one of the magnificent rooms in the old building, but it was not possible (although the rooms were not occupied and we were willing to pay) The staff were very blase.

Great Hotel Bad Restaurant

Comfortable, great location
we had a great stay, even if it was short. the restaurant looked wonderful so we booked in for 8:15pm. the second we got their we felt as if we were intruding on their space. the waiter was rude and simply wanted to get the service out of the way as soon as possible. the wine waiter was so poorly trained he did not know how to extract a cork from a bottle of wine. the blame for all of this lies squarely with the management of the restaurant. in such a classy hotel this restaurant stood out as 'faulty towers'. the substantial price of the meals made this place the worst value for money we have experienced in 36 years.

well decorated hotel built on a historic building

near to the train station and it's very beautiful
It is a very beautiful hotel near to the Avignon central train station. We found it easily. The hotel is built on a historic building. We love this style very much. The room is clean and large. There is a swimming pool on the roof top.

A Hotel Best For One Night

Not a warm friendly receptionist the first day, much nicer staff on the next day. We were in the more modern part of the building which was not what we were expecting. The grounds were uncared for, the room was spacious but its Europe and the toilet was so tiny we could barely get in the door. I wouldn't recommend it for a honeymoon as we were.
