Nice ambiance and scenery lacking in amenities

Something different
Fair but I don't think it was worth the money I paid.

Club Tara is overated, overpriced! Airport transfer cost is too much. Hotel van is so depreciated. No intercom to call for service. Funny they dont even have a bottle opener for my beer! Ordered for 4 SanMig lights but only one bottle is available! Room aircon cannot even cool the room even at full blast! Bathroom shower curtain is disgusting. Needs replacement. Dining area has stray cats!! What are they doing in the kitchen area?

Caters more to the Spartans

If you buy your food outside, they cook it for you for a cheap price. There is no number 2 and 3.
It was okay, really. But what we got certainly wasn't worth the price we paid. Facilities were barely adequate and badly maintained. Water was supplied from a brackish well. If you don't bring your food for them to cook, you're gonna' pay an exorbitant amount for their food, which probably isn't even fresh. If you do bring your own food though, they'll cook it for a cheap fee. They claim it's because it's hard to bring supplies from the mainland, but it can also be argued that that's exactly what they're suppose to do - bring supplies to the friggin' island where they decided to open up a friggin' resort. Lastly, the waters around the resort was kind of polluted because it was very shallow and so the tide couldn't really clean the place up even though very few boats went there. I advise against staying in this hotel. In fact, don't stay on the entire group of islands belonging to Bucas Grande. I checked another hotel there, and it was even worse than the one we got, not to mention deceitful. I'd suggest staying in Siargao or on the mainland of Surigao and just coming to the Bucas Grande islands by boat everyday.

Good for Nature Lover

Kayaking, Public Beach, Good Place
For group and Family Travellers, This is a good place for those who have Money. The place is good, the water is great (Only when High Tide), If you're a Nature Lover, then THis place is suited for you.. Staffs have a great performance.. WHen you get here, be sure to Buy your food on the market because once you get here, there are no market available on the island.. Their food is so expensive, but they allow you to cook your food on your room or bring your raw food to their kitchen and pay 100 pesos per kilo.. For my experience here, i have a great time on this place and hoping to be back again someday

Not worth your money.

Scenery, location, ocean
It was a big disapppoiment upon arrival. No fresh water. No decent food. No decent towels. We've been duped by 15 year old pictures on Agoda. We hate going back. They charge 3 star room rates for a lousy zero star facilities.

Beautiful location.

The food was terrible.
The location was amazing but the food was absolutely terrible. The rooms are old and run down. This place could use a make over of the rooms and staff.

need to be renovated

ambiance, view and location
the owner need to upgrade all the facilities, the food is "lutong bahay" need more equipments. needs transportation. the location, view and ambiance of the resort is wasted because of the poor maintenance and lack of management of the owner.
