Best Hotel in Samui

View, Staff, Hotel
It's a must-stay hotel in Samui! Unbeatable view from pool and real remote place getting away the crowd, you can truly enjoy a real island life. Clean sandy beach are there only for you, not like the other beach full of people and tourist.

Nice hotel

the view, the car rental,
Code is a nice hotel which is away from main hotel stretch. Recommend to rent a car to travel around the island as the car rental is affordable. Food at Vanilla is is quite pricey and the food quality is not consistent. Recommend to try the cheap and good seafood at the foot of the hill. (Bang po takho seafood). There is also 7-11 to stock up on water, the free shuttle to the beach that runs every 2 hours stops next to the gesture for hotel to provide guests with mobile phone that gives you free calls to any number in Thailand. Overall a good hotel to rest and relax, away from the hustle and bustle of chaweng or lamai.

Very nice place

The view, the room and breakfast
Stayed here in the end of April 2015. This place was more than I expected. The room was set up like a studio apartment with a glass divider that slides across if needed. You have a kitchen large refrigerator and freezer, kitchen table, sectional couch, flat scree tv with a speaker compatible with apple or usb plug in. The included breakfast felt more like eating at an expensive restaurant than the standard hotel breakfast. They bring you a 3 tiered tray with fruits, yogurt and croissants. You then order what you would like to eat from a menu. The hotel is located half way up a mountain providing beautiful views from every room and the pool. The only down side is its not on the beach if that's what your looking for but they do provide an hourly shuttle. Instead we rented one of the motor bikes from the hotel and explored the islands towns, markets, waterfalls and beaches. To summerize I wish I booked more nights at this hotel.

Staff, Room Standard and Design
This was a perfect hotel room (2 bed apartment). The standard of room, poolside area and staff in particular manager, were wonderful.

Stunning view, great staffs, amazing food
It was amazing! We were staying by the beach in Bophut before coming here. We were thinking to move a lil higher on hillside because we were bored with beaches (been travelling for 9 days). We got lucky to choose this property through Agoda among all other properties. Staffs were so kind and helpful. You can have the best gym ever because of the view (it was small but okay). The Marketing Manager, Max, had a talk with us during breakfast. He was so kind to give us special rate for some transports and others. We rented a motorbike to go around, also for those who happen to be in Samui must go to Air Bar at Intercontinental.

Could try harder

design, pool, comfort of room
Sweet boutique hotel but possibly not 4 star. Yes this is thailand but the staff we met really struggled with English. They seemed very obsessed with us not taking things e.g. umbrella, rattan bag on loan, from the hotel for good at the end of our stay which rather cheapened the experience. They are trying g hard but there appears to have been an oversight when the built the property with the villas in front obscuring the view by 6 feet. They could improve things by offering a few products that you may have forgotten at reception (we asked for a razor and they didn't have it) and some dvds to play in the dvd players or some electrical leads for people to connect dvd players to their laptops. Just some cheap ideas to allow them to offer a more upmarket experience.
