Shabby service and decaying fixtures and fittings
Such a shame that everything from fixtures and fittings, to customer service, has been left to decay. My experience started with no smile and no one to help with my case. Alarm bells rang as I dragged my luggage along to try and find my room. When I arrived in the room - big space and great views. I did, however, start to spot the lack of attention everywhere. From rusty appliances, to cracked tiles, to dirty air vents. I was thirsty so I looked for a mini bar - nothing. I called down and asked where can I get a drink? They told me the supermarket next door, the bar is not open until 5pm. I asked room service maybe? - they said no not for drinks and they not serving anyway until later. So after a 16 hour flight I had to go shopping to get a drink. Then I spotted no lock on the balcony door. I rang down and was told to call someone in the front desk when I wanted to open or lock it as they only had one key hotel. So of course I explained that I would be going in and out of the balcony and I would want to lock it when I go in and out of the hotel and it was not practical to do that. I was told that was that - what could they do with only one key (maybe go cut some more?). So I was just told call if you want it locked despite my protests. So I called back and asked for the hotel manager - never got to the manager, but I did end up with a key. It was such a cheap flimsy key it broke the first time I tried to lock the door. So I headed to the pool side (great view) where I found more things broken. I even sat on a very flimsy bar stool around the edge of the glass balcony surrounding the pool and long table restaurant - crack! - stool split into two - lucky to survive with tackle still in order! Even wooden planks around the pool would lift up if you stood in the wrong place and perspex floor over the pool was cracked and they would wobble and move as you walked over them. The only exception I found was the breakfast team. Excellent breakfast and great customer service

Great location
Short walk to BTS, so location was good. Staff not very friendly or helpful, especially up near the pool. Room was nice with a great view on the 38th floor. I feel the rating in the mid 8's is a bit high. I've stayed at MANY hotels throughout Thialand, and I would give this a rating of about 7 - at the highest.

The hotel is at a 5 min walk from Asoke BTS and MTR station. We were upgraded to a very nice suite, without having ask for un upgrade. Staff were very friendly, helpful and spoke English. Breakfast was fine with enough choice. The only somewhat disappointed thing is the swimming pool, which I guess is not much used and somewhat dilapidated. This said however I would choose this hotel when we will come to BKK again.

I travelled Bangkok for 5 day holidays
It was my first time in Thailand. I tried to explore Bangkok as much as possible. I preferred the place for me to have a spacious and convenient room. The one-bed room executive quite met my expectations

Great location!
It's near BTS and subway. Big and clean room, close to shopping centers; Terminal 21, Emquartier and The Emporium; next to Food Land supermarket, 7-11, and Sirikit Park.

Couples vacation
Staff are excellent, the room was splendid, flowers in our room made for a lovely atmosphere, and the in house restaurant was very good. Hope to stay here again soon.
