very fiendly and helpful staff at the front desk
very hospitable staff at front desk
staff is great - friendly, hospitabel, and very helpful. i think she is very happy, fulfilled, and satisfied with her work and may be likes what she is doing. room is very big and clean. only thing is that it is far from everything. it's located on a hill which has no establishments nearby, not even a convenience store so i had to take a taxi back and forth the town area to buy food. taxi cost around 15-20 usd for the return trip.

Beautiful Place, Comfortable, Quality Service!
Love the place, equipped with everything that you need. Beautiful rooms, good hotel facilities, nice warm indoor swimming pool, laundry facilities, huge parking lots, sumptuous breakfast, etc! Highly recommended.

Older Hotel but clean and nice!
Great breakfast with "make your own" waffles. Pool and Hot tub
We have been staying here many times while visiting our daughter at college at Pitt. Like this place because it is not too expensive, has the nice breakfast, a pool and hot tub. It is older, and could use some upgrades, which they seem to be working on. Everyone there has always be pleasant, and helpful. We always have had a good experience there.

You get what you pay for.
decent price, not too difficult to get downtown
the hot tub smelled like sweat and the eggs were terrible
The price was reasonable. The hotel wasn't hard to find, and it was only about a ten minute drive to the University of Pittsburgh. The kids were excited about the pool. I was excited about the hot tub until I got in. Once I got back to our room, I had to wash my swimsuit with bar soap to get the smell of someone else's body odor out of it. The room was decent enough, but the breakfast was sub-par. My wife grabbed a piece of bread out of the display that was covered in mold and showed it to the attendant, who seemed indifferent at best.

Nice Fancy but nice
Nice pool and hot tub, nice breakfast including make your own waffles, not far from Pitt Univ
Oldr, carpets are worn, although they seem to be doing some upgrading.
We have been staying here when visiting our daughter at Pitt. It is less expensive than many places closer to Pitt. I could use some upgrades, but it clean and the staff is always nice.

Good enough
Breakfast was good, location was close enough to downtown and shopping areas.
Hotel is a bit run down, walls not very sound proof
We arrived at the hotel at about 2 AM. The person on duty was quite helpful and got us checked-in in no time. Hotel room was a bit small and run down, but had the basic amenities necessary for a good night's sleep. The walls were not very sound proof, so you can hear people outside talking. In spite of these, I think it we had an OK stay at this hotel. For the price we paid, we could not have asked for more.

Well worth the money
It was right off the highway, the staff was extremely friendly, breakfast was GREAT, and it was overall a good atmosphere.
Nothing!
It was well worth every penny. The free breakfast was better than the Marriott I was at prior, overall a great place.
