Great value and unbeatable location. Small but with character.
Unbeatable location and value for the dollar. Room was not hugely spacious but comfortable and materials of sturdy and good quality.

Quiet but centrally located
We are returning guests. The staffs were very friendly and helpful as always. The hotel is very well kept. One input we have is to add exhaust fan in the bathroom or make sure it works.

excellent staff, excellent location, rooms a bit small
I would reccomend the staff (front desk staff) who were all very diligent, very professional and active. A little story which happened to me : I went to the market (north of the lake) by taxi, it costed 24.000 dong (around 1,5 dollars) when i came back, from the market i took a taxi but i didnt feel confortable, the box of the counter/taximeter was partially hidden. And i notices that the rate increased very fast... at the hotel the total was 107.000 dong. I asked the hotel to help me and they immediately came and barked at the driver who was definately a taxi/stealer... I paid 50.000 (The reception told me to pay only 40.000 but I didn t have change and didnt want to spend time on that) Anyway they helped.... Be aware of fake taxi !...

The best hospitality in Hanoi!
Due to the hotel being overbooked on our arrival (not the hotels fault, guests had an accident and needed the room), the staff went over and above the call of duty to ensure we enjoyed our stay in Hanoi. Firstly, we were taken by taxi accompanied with a staff member to a beautiful hotel close by. They gave us a suite with a balcony which was beautiful. ,the next morning we were collected by a staff member and taken back to the hotel for a fantastic breakfast. Our trip was planned to go to Halong Bay and we were to return the following day to go back to the airport. The hotel offered us use of a room to freshen up and organised a car to take us to the airport free of charge. All staff could not have been more helpful and we were touched by the hotels exceptional hospitality. As an add addendum, the Conifer is in a great area of Hanoi, and within walking distance of the lake. Thank you to all staff and management at the Conifer!

Great location
Very good location, right next to the opera house. The top floor room is a bit small, but has great view to the city. Good choice for business travellers

nice boutique hotel
The staffs were very attentive and helpful. We booked a tatami room, which was on the top floor with very nice view. But I will not suggest anyone taller than 180cm choose this room, for the ceiling is too low for the tall. The location is wonderful, nearing everything, but in a quiet alley. I think we will come back again.
