Location is excellent. Facilities a little crummy.
It's not going to wow you with beauty. It shows its age. Mostly it was kept up well but there were still a few broken things. City view means a concrete wall two feet away. That's it. But the place is decent and the location is excellent. So it's a good value for the money if you aren't picky. Just spend your time at Ayala and not at the hotel.

This hotel is stuck in 1999
Eradic hot water, charged for water and Internet. Shower water control should have been replaced years ago. Owner must reinvest nothing here.

From Uneventful to Horrible.
the location is good.
The first morning (Jan 16th) was horrible. Woke up and realized that the pillow and bedsheet had some bloodstains. Immediately notified the reception staff and manager about it and explained that me and my spouse did not experience any bleeding or open wound. We were so tired the night before that we did not bother checking the sheets first (as you expect a lot better in any hotel). Manager was very defensive, adamant that she personally checked the room before giving it to us the day before. Took some photos together with the manager and I asked for a memo/letter to state the incident. Manager agreed to prepare such document but changed her mind in the evening, stating that she checked the staff for any wounds and she sounded so defensive and just protecting her job. I again insisted on having that letter, and she agreed again and will discuss with her boss. I did a follow up early this week (through e-mail and phone), but she is ignoring me. Truly, the worst hotel stay I ever had, not to mention the psychological trauma, and potentially, physical effects of such an ordeal to me and my family.

The hotel's location is accessible.
Accessible, accomodating,
The hotel is quite old and need an improvement. CR need to be renovated because of the smell of cochcroach.

Wi-fi not free and no aircon in the lounge
Location, location, location
There was no table or anywhere to sit and use a laptop, and the wi-fi cost PHP100 per hour, which makes it both awkward and annoying to do anything if travelling on business. There is a tiny cafe on the 2nd floor which is described as a "lounge" but there was no air conditioning and it was only open a few hours a day. Not expensive, but any means, but not business-conducive either.
