Nice room and cooling weather
Staff very nice, room abit old but still acceptable. Very convenient and near to street market.

Summary
Overall I'm satisfied with the accommodation, the only portion to improve as below: 1) Toilet facilities such as Hair dryer need to improve or change to new model - too outdated 2) Shower head not in good condition, maintainence not in place.

Room for improvement
Its a lovely hotel and we stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. Location is good and the apartment had a lovely view from the balcony. The kitchen was functional but the kitchen cabinets need to be reolaced.

value for $, near to market
It is walking distance to the morning market, well equipped with in door gym, there is a few restaurants nearby, so it is ok even if it is raining outside. The breakfast is good. The hotel may need to consider an isolated area for smoker and a space for kids to play.

Good location, but hotel maintenance was an issue
We liked the location of this hotel because it was higher up (hence, cooler) and close to the farms, markets, tea plantation and the Mossy Forest. For the price we paid, we had a realistic expectation that the hotel would be slightly dated, which was fine so long as it was clean and well maintained. We booked a 2-bedroom apartment. It was a spacious room but when we checked in (just after it rained), we found there to be leaks from the ceiling in the living room and one of the bathrooms. We immediately reported this to reception and after 2 phone calls, we were assured that the bellboy will come with keys to take us to a different apartment. We waited 40 minutes and after another 2 more phone calls to complain about the long wait (we couldn't unpack or go out until we got moved), the bellboy eventually turned with keys to the new room. Apart from that, the staff are generally polite and helpful. However, at the new apartment, we found that the water in the master bathroom did not drain well and every time someone has a shower, it starts to flood within minutes. We alerted reception about this and we were informed that someone would look into it the next day but I doubt anyone came to the room as the problem persisted during our stay. I hope the hotel will sort out these maintenance issues and generally keep up with the overall maintenance of the hotel, so guests will not need to keep complaining about these little (but important) things.
