Great place away from crowd

Quietness, price, service
8.3
Away from night markets/tourist spot, this place provides you the peace yet not leaving you in desserted. However, being in HK island, might be troublesome if you frequent Kowloon area (Taxi incur addition charge by "crossing the sea"). Easy access to Tramway & public bus though. Cross the road towards the hospital and 5 mins walk takes you to 7-11s/cafes/eateries. Room size is decent (HK standard) but what you need is all in. Service is good, staff speak good english. And yes, the provided Handy mobile phone, unlimited 3G (to serve as wifi hotspot) and unlimited IDD call to Oz, US, SG, etc is a huge huge plus. Price is attractive...Do consider your objective of your trip & weigh your priority.

Great and memorable experience

Literally in front of a bus stop and very near to a tram station; Open-air wifi lounge with self-service coffee/tea/fruit bar; Friendly, accomodating, English-proficient staff

This is my family's third time vacationing in Hong Kong, and this was the very best hotel experience we've had. Check-in was a breeze and we were able to go up to our rooms upon arrival at 10:00 AM. Check-out was also very easy and fuss free. The hotel is non-smoking and this is definitely a plus (although there is an open-air smoking lounge which does not interfere with the ventilation with the rest of the hotel). There is a bus stop literally in front of the hotel which plies an important bus route to the Central bus station where you can get a bus to Ocean Park and to Stanley. The tram stop is only twenty feet away, which route stops at Causeway Bay MTR station so it's also very convenient. We have a triple-occupancy room with a privacy wall separating the third bed and a second half-bathroom. The wifi at the 5th floor lounge was also very fast and free. There's a free self-service coffee/tea bar with fresh fruits available at the lounge as well. The only minor downside to this otherwise great hotel was the breakfast: it wasn't bad per se, but it does not specifically cater to a clientele with an international palate. Although this is not a dealbreaker. It was also easy to communicate with the staff since they speak English. When we return to Hong Kong, we'll be staying at this hotel again.

Rooms are too small for the price you pay. Too expensive.

Cosmo has been my first choice hotel whenever I am in Hong Kong. I was wow-ed previously by the staffof this hotel. Service by the concierge dropped a little compared to when I was first here, but nonetheless, service on the whole by the other staff were exemplary. Will stay here again on my next trip to Hong Kong

Well-located affordable hotel in Hong Kong

Location, cleanliness, good price

A fast check in and friendly staff started this stopover stay. The hotel is close to MTR, trams and buses, with many buses stopping right outside. An easy 10 minute walk and you are in the middle of Causeway Bay for shopping, restaurants and connection to the rest of Hong Kong. The Cosmo is a smaller modern annex to the Cosmopolitan down the road. Few amenities, but it's a city hotel, not a resort or a spa. Everything is clean and well designed.
