good hotel, really well located but uncompetent st
I have stayed in this hotel with friends in an independent room with our own bathroom, we were really happy when we discover the hotel, it has a really nice rooftop restaurant with view on the fort, really nice to shill out and have some drinks. Our room was pretty clean and we had clean sheets and clean towels. However, during our stay, we discover a lazy staff. We had to ask every time several times to have something and for food in the restaurant. Furthermore, the staff looked annoyed everytime we ask for something. One more thing, the AC is not included in the price. You have to pay 250roupies per night to use the AC....

Great value guesthouse
Cosy Guesthouse was great, set in the heart of the blue town with great views of the fort. My room was simple, clean and the bed was comfortable. Friendly and helpful people who ran the place.

Favourite stay (so far)
Close to fort, view, quirky rooms
I really enjoyed my time here. The dining/social area has a great view of the fort. Hotels attract a type of traveller, and the people I met here were civilised, and interesting. The food is basic but fine. The rooms I saw have character. Wifi worked in my room. I would happily go back and spend more time there.

A great spot!
The view, the rooftop garden, the location
After a fifteen minute uphill trek from the tuc Tuc, we arrived at Cosy Guest House. Staff were friendly enough as we checked in. The rooms were cute. It was cold at night and so we could have definitely done with some more bed covers. We ended up wearing a lot of our clothes in bed! Our room had a strange smell and we did not get any hot water during our stay even though we asked about it. The rooms are not well insulated an so you can hear a lot from them, at all hours. The rooftop garden area is beautiful and a great place to chill out for hours on end. The food is good too. A lovely friendly family lives next door and they will chat to you from across the balcony! The guesthouse is close to the fort. It is a walkable distance from the clock tower area but after the first night walking it, we never did it again. It was too scary with all the narrow alleys and crazy traffic! Tuc tucs are readily available outside. I would definitely recommend this place!

Clean Hotel
Clean, large room and hot shower
We stayed at Cosy Guest House for one night and arrived late and left early. Therefore, I am unable to comment on many of the guest houses features. However, the room was large, clean and cool. It also had a hot shower and cable tv. The staff were really attentive and sent an auto to meet us at the train station. My only main issue is that the room faced onto the street and it was very noisy early in the morning. Perhaps another of the rooms would be quieter. The guest house is also quite far from the main old town around the clock tower.

Helpful owner, clean accomodation
Views of the City.
Overall a nice stay in the Cosy Guest house. Tv didnt really work, no channels tuned. Seemingly no hot water, but comfortable beds, and a manager who went very far in trying to find us a driver over Diwali, and helpful advice re: autorickshaw prices, con-men and the like. Restauraunt was well priced and tasty, excellent views of the castle and blue city from the rooftop.
