Historic stay

Very friendly and helpful staff, convenient location but far away enough to be quiet & awesome roof top restaurant!
It was cosy, the room was fairly small. Clean & tidy room. Restaurant rooftop was great, the food was ok. The highlight was the friendly and helpful staff!

Good but still need improvement

Good location,near Durbar Square;friendly &helpfulstaff;nice balcony&good breakfast
Generally, our stay in cosy hotel is pleasant because of its good location near Durbar Square but not so as noisy as the latter. Also, the staff are really friendly and helpful to give us advice. But the room facing the street is a little noisy and the shower water is not so hot.the dinner is a little expensive and tastes so-so but breakfast is really good

Too expensive for what was offered

Location is good, people were nice
I have spent three nights at the cosy hotel and spent 30 dollars for two per night, breakfast included. The hotel is too expensive for what it offered: room was very dark, breakfast was not good and very light, there was a tv and telephone in the room not working, the water was not really hot and the bathroom had an open window so it was very cold when we showered. Not a good value.

Beautiful choice in Pottery Square.

Staff attention, room finish and location.
I stayed here for three nights. Very helpful staff. Free laundry, toiletries and breakfast. Very well finished room and nice rooftop dining area but as the roof has no covered dining area it can be cold and dark at night. Even with candles and a heater. I liked the small balcony which gives you a chance to observe Bhaktapur's rooftop life scene. All in all a good choice.

The best hotel in my solo trip to Nepal

Friendly Staff, Very good service , and location
Location wise, this hotel is just perfect. Pottery Square is just behind the hotel i.e. 3 mins walk away. Opposite the small alley to Pottery Square, it's about 8 mins away from Durbar Square. And the staff - very friendly and good service. During check in, the staff explained to me in details of the hotel and its service, which also includes FREE laundry. I even got a complimentary drink from the hotel and they are not even 5 stars. I feel like a very valued guest, staying in this hotel. The room itself is cozy. Hot water required a 5 mins to 10 mins running though but that's quite normal in Nepal.

A nice hotel near the major touristic area

Staff Performance, Easy access to major touristic area and morning experience in the roof-top restaurant
Although only a night stay, I had a great experience in Cosy Hotel. All the major touristic area in Bhaktapur is walking distance. You will have a great experience by walking around: to the Pottery square, Durbar square, Taumadhi square and Dattatraya. Had a nice morning experience in the rooftop restaurant with foggy view around the hills. The staffs are very kind and helpful to give information about Bhaktapur. Recommended.
