Comfort Hotel

Nice and cozy room, located near to the siam shoping malls, great in room dining
It was a nice stay because the hotel is located near to the siam shopping malls. They also provide a free tuk tuk to the nearest BTS station and the best thing is you can call them to pick you up as well. We ordered fried rice and nasi goreng, both are fantastic.

Not too bad

Clean, Quiet, Away from crowds
Was told that we were given a room which is bigger than the usual, at the far end of Level 4. Non smoking room, didn't have any weird smell, which was good. Very fresh air. However, all rooms' entrance doors DO NOT come with soft closing. Every time someone wants to go out/go back, the doors will slam loudly upon closing. This woke me up a few times at night and in the early morning. Room is not sound proof as I can hear people talking outside my room loudly. Generally still a quiet hotel because it is situated in a small road with lesser traffic. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to do research so I didn't know about the free shuttle tuk tuk :( It would be better if the reception could give more information. Walking to Ratchadamri is nearer than walking to Chit Lom station. Housekeeping and service by the staff are all good.

Location, location, location

Location, modern and value
An excellent 4-star hotel. Great location, a good 8 minutes walk to the nearest BTS, Rajadamri, and a nice 15 minutes stroll to Central World or the 4-faces Buddha. Room was functional with nice layout, and well air-conditioned. The bed was very comfortable and so were the pillows. Breakfast buffet offers great varieties. Service in general from front office, housekeeping and F&B were top notch! Definitely coming back on my next BKK trip.

Not very bad but no next time

Hotel looks clean
I requested non-smoking room,but they gave me smoking room.The room smell like a koraoke room(air fresheners+smoking smell). Location very bad as really far from chit lom big C(at leat 20mins walk).Although there is free tuk tuk to chit lom BTS, they only work 7am to 10pm.And they only have one tuk tuk that means you need to wait.One day the staff ask me to wait for 30mins as the tuk tuk went to oil station. If you take BTS and walk to hotel then Ratchadamri BTS is better, Breakfast taste normal but few choice. Free Wifi in room suddenly off once. Staff not smart enough to handle things as they still mixed up my booking even I have contacted and verified with them by email about my booking before

Clean and compact with a little bit of walk

We booked the executive room on a flash deal, so in terms of value for money, we got the best out of it. The hotel was tagged with smoking area, we stated we needed a smoking room, booking was made weeks before trip, no one from the hotel bother to call us to notify us that their only smoking rooms were on 2nd floor. Not that we are complaining after capturing the room over a flash deal. We were still allowed to use the executive lounge though. Staff was majority friendly. Guests will have to expect some walking from the main road in to the hotel. It's especially dashed with a bit of danger from coaches arriving in and out at night. Just as we were wondering why they aren't providing buggy rides for guests like the hotels in Sukhumvit, we saw one parked in front of the hotel on our last night when we came back after some midnight shopping. No one actually offer us the option. Maybe the group of hotel only can afford ONE buggy for their Bangkok franchise. Poor thing... Nevertheless, no major fault. Room is very clean even for a smoking room. No stench, no chips, toilet flush was working fine. Sexy settings with a dropdown curtain partitioning the bathroom and bedroom, with the curtain on the outside. Breakfast lounge was full of screaming kids on a Sunday morning after 7am. Food choices were not massive but were of an acceptable standard. No newspaper to room. At least not for mine....maybe it's not part of the flash deal. (shrug) Sleep quality was bad. They had very small pillows on the bed. If you are those who roll around when sleeping, you are going to have a hard time like me. Pillows are too soft too. We give compliments to the concierge though. Their reaction speed to your request is very fast and efficient. Kudos.

Everything was fine until check out. Booked executive with club facilities, INCLUDING BREAKFAST. They offer me complimentary services like afternoon delights (snacks) and evening cocktails at Executive Floor. They replaced room cards few hours later for us because they mistakenly given cards that cannot access to the Executive Floor. Its just a small mistake and i am ok with that. Upon checking out, the front desk request me to settle my breakfast bill before i leave. I reminded her that i passed them my agoda receipt upon checking in which clearly stated condition of booking but she still insist of payment because "SYSTEM SHOW EXCLUDE BREAKFAST". Even if i told her i could access to their executive floor and took my breakfast and evening cocktails there, she refuse to double check and asking for payment repeatedly. She said access to club facilities without charges could be somebody's mistake for not getting me to sign on bill on the spot!! She even refused to check my agoda receipt passed upon checking in. This is ridiculous and i had to go back to my room just to get the complimentary letter from her manager and showed her the wording : BREAKFAST is offered. I am disappointed with her response and surprised by her analytical ability or logical reasoning on this matter, not to mention the inability to identify the problem. She claimed that she was just doing her job based on system. I have no choice but mentioned her manager's name then only she stopped and apologise for system error -- not her handling nor attitude. It was disheartening. Everything was great until check out......一颗老鼠屎坏了一窝粥

location, food, cleanliness
everything was great until check out. the front desk insist i have to settle my breakfast before i CAN check out. Told her:- 1)passed them agoda receipt which clearly stated breakfast included upon check in. 2)booked executive room with club house facilities which include after snacks and evening cocktail located at executive floor which accessible via special room cards. They actually issued me wrong cards and replaced me few hours later which i am ok with that, with an apologise letter printed with courtyard's letterhead, which also stated breakfast is INCLUDED. 3)Never receive bills To my surprise, the staff keep asking payment repeatedly and insisted that she was doing as per system's record, even though my airport transfer was waiting outside of the hotel. Her replies:- 1) Asking payment as per computer system. She CANNOT look for agoda's receipt i forwarded upon check in. 2) Why customer can access executive floor, took breakfast and complimentary evening cocktail without signing any bill---probably some staffs oversight 3) Courtyard's letter- she did not prepare the letter so she cannot check Disappointed with her analytical ability and inability to identify the problem, i had to go back to my room and brought the letter with courtyard's letterhead and passed her personally. She said she "will help me to waive the bills since you can PROVE you already paid"! She thought she was helping me!!! Everything was fine until check out......This particular staff not even apologise for her mistake. When i mentioned her manager's name, reluctantly, she apologised--- "sorry for the system error"..... worst experience.

Enjoyable Stay with Room to Improve

cleaniness, good service and helpful staff
It was a pretty nice stay; clean and friendly staff. However, the minus point being that it was slightly a distance to the train station, although the hotel provide free transfer to the BTS station. A bit disappointed about the absence of the bath tub in the rooms on Executive floor though..... Overall, a rather enjoyable stay
