Offering all manner of comforts to ease tired travelers, this property at Malpensa Airport is both convenient and cost-efficient. Located close to Terminal 2 in the airport grounds, the Crowne Plaza Milan-Malpensa Airport Hotel is a worthy addition to a reputable chain. With a completely modern look and feel, the property delivers as an airport business hotel in all respects with soft king beds, bathtubs, and fluffy robes complemented by a free airport shuttle and free Wi-Fi access in public areas. Dining on-site entails Mediterranean cuisine in the La Brughiera restaurant or light snacks from the bar. The Crowne Plaza Milan-Malpensa Airport Hotel's Turkish bath promises to soothe even the most stressed traveler, and if that doesn't work, the cardio machines in the fitness center might do the trick. Decent airport hotel

restaurant surprisingly good, comfort of room and location

Booked this hotel for ease of airport transfer. Having stayed at airport hotels before wasn't expecting too much but this hotel was very comfortable, also the food in the restaurant in the evening was very nice and the breakfast buffet adequate.

Good hotel

Nice room, helpful staff, close to airport

Make sure to take the Hotel's shuttle bus (4 Euros) or a taxi. Otherwise the hotel will be hard to find as there's no sign posts for it. However, it's very convenient for late arrivals or early departures. Very comfortable room with all the amenities you'd expect, and friendly, helpful staff.

Uninspiring airport hotel

location, breakfast, well-maintained

This hotel is convenient for travelers who need an overnight airport stopping place. However, it is totally lacking in atmosphere, and the shuttle bus is not well-advertised. The bus mainly serves the Holiday Inn - and I only discovered by accident that I could catch this bus to go to the Crowne Plaza. Next time I would stay at the Sheraton Hotel which is located right inside the terminal.

What a great place too stay close to the airport

location, size of room, staff

Our stay was lovely, it is close to the airport and the room was very sizeable. It is not a place you would stay unless you were close to the airport

You're paying extra for a bar, resturant, & sauna

the airport bus, the staff was fairly helpful in switching rooms when the first one had a bad odor
5.3
It was adequate, but not particularly good value unless you want to use the bar, resturant, or sauna. The rooms were okay, but both (non-smoking) rooms had the odor of cigarette smoke.(I suspect this is a common problem in Europe. When the hotels run out of smoking rooms, they book smokers in the non-smoking rooms and ask them not to smoke. And then they smoke anyway.) The first one was particularly strong, with an odor of rancid milk as a bonus.(That room also had a broken handle on the window, so I suspect the service staff hadn't been able to air out the room in some time. The windows have key locks, so guests are unable to open them.) At 7:30 in the morning, there was no hot water in the shower, but there was hot water 10 minutes later. The breakfast was particularly dishartening, with wilted, watery food. I chose to try my luck at the airport instead. The shuttle buses run on time, (every half hour at peak times, and ever hour otherwise.) There were also no vending machines in the hotel, so your only choice of drink or food was the resturant or the poor selection in the over-priced minibar. There were no stores in walking distance, although some of the nearby Italian resturants have been given numerous rave reviews. The desk staff was friendly and helpful, but the resturant staff tended to be slow to respond. On this form, I was required to recommend aspects of Milian, but overall I found it a depressing city. If you've traveled in Europe before, I would strongly recommend skipping Milan in favor of Como, the Turn area, Lugano(or better, Lucerne) in Switzerland, or even Vercelli on a nice day(a wonderfully quiet, historical city of 60K).

The room, bathroom and TV

It was average considering the receptionist did not even gave me an eye contact when talking to me. She looked someplace else. Very rude. Will not come back to this hotel though not worth it for the price.

We arrive milan in evening.Due to the hotel website notice that the shuttle bus service need to reserve,so we take the public airport shuttle bus service which need to walk there 5 mins long. When we take off at bus stop, the road is dark and cold.We reach holiday inn only but cannot see crowne plaza buildings. After few dark and horrible road..we arrived finally. When the staff notice that we walk here .. she seems laugh at us and strongly insist that their shuttle bus service no need to reserve.. if it is true, please change the notice in your website and dont lead customer misunderstanding anymore ..
