Business in the Pudong area, this is a good hotel

Size of rooms are big, eateries, convinent stores and banks all around, nearer to airport n industrial area
We were visiting relations in the pudong area so found this hotel in an excellent location. But for sightseeing, this would not be a hotel of choice. Its 1/2hr taxi ride to puxi bund area. And 40mins fr airport. Good, big clean hotel. Rooms area big but what was mentioned as 2 double beds in the room is actually 2 super single beds only. Indoor heated pool but water was cold when my family went in.

Hotel is new & spotless but it's far from downtown

Friendly english speaking staff, shuttle service
If you are in Shanghai for holiday, it would be unwise to stay in this hotel. Its location is about 45mins drive by taxi from downtown Pudong which would set u back about 150 renminbi. There is a metro station though nearby but still it is about 16 stops to town. Booked a room for 3 with breakfast but upon check-in was told breakfast was only for one hotel guest. Do check your hotel arrangements in advance to avoid any hassle. Breakfast buffet was a mix of western & eastern dishes. However it was the same everyday for the 4 days I dined there in the morning. The plus points are every single hotel staff were so polite & warm. Most could converse in english well. There is a shuttle service to a number of Shanghai sights that leaves every few hours.

good value

nice hotel, new and good beds. friendly staff; especially inthe executive lounge
We had a good stay where the rooms were big; free internet and very friendly staff. Breakfast excellent. Little far out of the city but not that much traffic jam compared to other locations. Restaurants were a little disappointing.

Nice hotel but a little far from the exhibition center. Good news is that there was not too much traffic.

great location but rooms are not nicely decorated

location - very near to the airport which save me a lot of time on transportation
hotel is being located in a very good location which is near to the airport. however, the rooms are not nicely decorated, like other 5 stars hotel even i paid extra.- for upgrade. to conclude, this hotel in not bad, just i expect the in room decoration will be nicer as this hotel group is quite large in china.

great service

great service big rooms
I was not aware there are 2 Crown Plazas in Pudong so I was not aware this one was so far from the city. That said the hotel was very well run. Rooms were big and clean. Breakfast was great and other services up to those of an international hotel. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I would consider returning to this hotel when I attend exhibitions in the future.

A distant hotel

Hotel is good quality, staff speak english, has a shuttle bus.
The hotel is good quality, the room is neat and tidy with english channels on the tv. The hotel unfortunately is miles from the city, around 30-45 minutes drive. Now while the hotel has a shuttle bus to its sister property which is more down town, the hotel is not within pick up range of most tours.

business hotel outside the city

the hotel is on the other side of pudong, 30 minutes from the fair. No good chance for shopping. Metro near of the hotel but you have to drive 1 hour to the city
The hotel is nice but very far away from the city and the airport. Room are nice and big enove. Service are ok. The hotel is special for airline-cresa, their are a lot their

sejour a Shanghai
