Remote - ideal for solitudal escape

Clean and immense grounds
Only stayed for two nights, enjoyed our stay in very quite and pleasing surroundings. Remote from Puerto Princesa which may be a con for some no nightlife as such.

Poor Value

Beautiful Gardens
Stayed in a standard room, as a treat after backpacking down from El Nido. As seasoned travellers, we're happy to stay in cheap rooms when backpacking but also are familiar with luxury hotels. Crystal Paradise was a serious disappointment -very glad we only went for a standard room. Expect nothing more than 2* service and facilities. Its only saving grace is the hotel's beautiful grounds with numerous palm trees and tropical flowers, and hammocks strung between them - all with a view of the ocean. The beach is non-existent - a narrow strip of brown sand. The reception and dining area is open air, in serious need of renovation. Breathtaking for all the wrong reasons. The restaurant's centrepiece fishtank was filthy, with flies interrupting our breakfast in the mornings. We avoided the restaurant for lunch/dinner. The level of english amongst most staff was poor. The spa was unable to offer some of its treatments, despite spa staff admitting they'd run out of supplies a while ago- they simply hadn't bothered to restock. What was most galling was the feeling that we were being ripped off at every turn, just because we were tourists. A boat trip out to the Turtle Sanctuary on Isla Arena . We did the same trip ourselves (on a better boat than our fellow hotel guests) . Tricyles to town , we did one way trips ourselves . We understand that luxury hotels charge large amounts for services they provide, it is to be expected. But at a resort where no added value is to be had at all, we found this unacceptable. If you stay here, know that it is a rundown resort, and pay accordingly. We would not recommend this place.

Amazing Resort in the Middle of Nowhere

extraordinary amihan pool villa executive suite
really it's amazing journey going to that place, we enjoyed staying and spending our honeymoon there. i recommend all those people who wants to have wonderful experience that will stay at least three nights in that resort. because it's nice place to relaxing and having some fun with romantic time with your lover far from nuisance and noise. just try it and you will see by your self.

Nice location but a very long way from the airport

Clean rooms, good food
we had a pleasant stay, but there is very little to do. beaches are beautiful, but very quiet in the evenings. do not under estimate the distance from the puerto princesa airport it is a 2 hour plus drive to get there. this is ideal for travellers moving around the island, 3 to 4 days maximum!

interesting place

quiet place for relaxing
we came from puerto princesa by car and we had booked standard rooms. at hotel we were offerd to stay in family villa for a surcharge and we decided to take it as standard room is more for young backpackers than for older travelers. we checked also deluxe room whick is a bit better but family villas are excelent, very nuce but also overpriced. the place itself and the surrounding is nice and the fishing with local fishermans is very good.

Great location, very nice staff, beautiful beach, nice rooms
one of the best hotels i have ever stayed in, great place! i recommend it to anybody, the hotel is in a beautiful palm tree park, just by the beach, which is great. the staff is very friendly and helpful, great food and they even have a swimming pool! do not hesitate just choose it !
