Vitina Studio Motel

Pool, Free BBQ, Location-ish
The hotel is situated at about a 10min walk from Darwin City Center and boasted the cheapest price/night we could find online. The facilities are very basic, breakfast a little dissapointing but overall we had an ok experience Staying here. Staff was very helpfull and we saved a big buck using their barbeque to cook our own food. Wifi did not work in our first room but when reported to the staff they quickly moved us to another room where the signal was impeccable.

Cloe to Darwin Centre

A very average motel. Room cleaning and servicing is not every day. We had a studio suite with a very small kitchenette of 2 hotplates, microwave and sink at $170, with outside common laundry, very expensive when compared with similar type accommodation in Australia, e.g. inner suburbs of Sydney. For this price one has greater expectations elsewhere but this seems to be Darwin during end of high season.

We checked into what we believed to be a 'quality' Motel based on the internet photos and ratings. We felt that we had been through a time warp and back in time by 40 years. It was a very old unappealing room with very dated facilities. The so called kitchen was no more than a small cooktop. The room was very cramped and did not look anything like the photos that we had seen online. We found alternative accommodation. Many of the people on our holiday were also very less than impressed.

Vitina Hotel Queens Birthday Weekend

Location, staff and venue
A great small hotel well located adjacent to central Darwin business area. Excellent staff and we greatly appreciated the smooth after hours check in operation. Highly recommended. Note we did not eat at the hotel so cannot rate this attribute.

value staying in darwin

I thought the value was great, good location if you don't want the stroll into town the buses in Darwin are very cheap...first drop off with the airport shuttle bonus..downside room could have been cleaner...they have a policy of $170 if you lose your key,I'm finding a trend with darwin businesses to make profits this way...dont lose your key!!apart from that great hotel good find in Darwin
