This hotel offers relatively cheap rooms with good standard but is far from BTS sky train.

Great hotel, Good service

Nice hotel room, big bathroom, great service
9.3
studio room was bigger than expected with a nice large comfortable toilet. generally clean and comfortable. tv channels was good. service was great as well, staff provided guides and helped to book taxi for travelling around bangkok. starbucks and carl's junior just nearby too, no worries about going hungry. they have regular 20mins tuk tuk service to the nearest bts, must remember to make reservations with them.
Shopping Tip: Bangkok is defintiely for shopping - Platinum Fashion plaza and chatuchak market. Central World is a huge shopping center as well near Platinum Fashion plaza with lots of global brands.

service and nice pool area

regular at the davis and have never had any issues. always very good service. rooms are fine. nice pool area although pool is not large. little bit away from sukhimvit main road but you can book the hotel tuk tuk service that runs to sukhimvit junction on a regular basis or its a 15 minute walk. Some restuarants nearby and also supermarkets in a 5 minute walk. Nice and peaceful.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: grand palace and wat pho are lovely although very busy

Nice room

Comfortable room, with tea/coffee facilities
5.3
firstly, it should be made much clearer that there are two buildings making up the davis: the main wing, and the corner wing. it should also be made clear that the corner wing is pretty much the cheap version of the main wing, and boy, do they make sure you know you're in the bargain basement. there was just a rather disappointing uncomfortable vibe that you weren't quite good enough for the main wing and that's not necessary. yes, i could have paid more for a bigger, better room, but just because i didn't, don't treat us like the poor relations please. overall though, the room was very nice, and a nice big comfortable bed. the see-through window into the bathroom seemed unnecessary though. the location was okay, although a bit of a trek from the skytrain. then again, it's really just the sidewalks that make it tough, as they're almost nonexistent. you will get your daily workout though. i would recommend the hotel, but leave your feelings at the door!
Restaurant Tip: For real authentic street food, head left out of the hotel down to the main road and check out the food stalls. We had the best noodle soup and Hainan chicken of the whole trip.

Convenient

Near shopping malls
8.3
The hotel is located near to several supermarkets and Emporium Department Store. There are also many restaurants just on the opposite site of the hotel. The location is good and not too far from the BTS skytrain station, however, the traffic in that area especially in the evening could be pretty bad.

Great hotel with excellent service

Large room, great view, excellent quality

The Davis is about 10 minutes walk to the BTS and although they say they have a tuk tuk it never seemed to be running for me so I always walked. The Hotel is excellent with wih a Starbucks for good coffee in the morning. The staff were gret an the room far exceeded my expectations. There ar lads of gret hotels in Bankok in this price rang but I would stay here again and recommend it.

position, good quality for money

It's a clean, very good located hotel. Not a lot of people are working there so doesn't have a very good service globally. Staff are nice and rooms are clean. I've been upgraded for free. Nice roof top pool, with few bad to lay.

friendly service

clean and neat
8.3
I had a good stay at Davis, the place was chic and comfort. A suggestion will be to put the complimentary bottles of water near the mini-bar rather than in the toilets. It can be rather misleading with a 1.5 litres of mineral water (chargeable) together with the coffee and kettle. To note as well is that the swimming pool is at the main wing but the studio is at the corner wing. One will have to walk to the main wing (not connected) for a swim.
