Nice stay at hotel

Location, staff, room size
Overall, the stay at this hotel was nice. My friends and I stayed here for New Years. We had a room in the towel part of the hotel and I recommend that if you're going to stay here, stay in the tower. The staff was friendly and the room that we had was a decent size for 4 people. The best thing though about this hotel is the location. Located right across from the Niagara Casino, it's ideal for anyone looking to be close to the Falls and explore Clifton Hills.

It was enjoyable.

Close to falls. Close to entertainment. Lots of eating places close.
Our stay was comfortable and the staff was very helpful and pleasant. Only drawback was the television has a poor selection of channels, and when you are stuck in your room due to weather conditions it is hard to keep your child a little occupied. Need a better continental breakfast menu when restaurant is closed.

Not what I expected..

Location. It was right at Clifton Hill that provided easy access to all the main attractions.
We booked a standard room two months in advance for New Years Eve for a relatively high price for a Days Inn. We were looking for something affordable with a little bit of comfort and cleanliness. When we got to the hotel on the day of we found out that we would be staying in a "standard" room in a motel look alike building attached to the high rise hotel building, which is a part of Days Inn. In order to move inside the building (inside the actual hotel), we had to pay extra CAD 40 for the "upgrade". Since it was freezing, and the standard rooms opened directly outdoor, we were stuck with paying the extra dollar to move inside. Nothing was good about the hotel other then the location. It was conveniently placed right next to Clifton Hill and was easy to get to all the main attractions. Days Inn is our usual hotel to stay in because of affordable prices and relatively cleaner and newer rooms. However, this one definetly did not make the par. Instead, I would recommend the Days Inn suites located behind this location or the newer Days Inn a little further west on Lundy's Lane.

Great location, but low quality

Location and price were great!
i planned my stay here with goal of getting a good price on a hotel and great location. i definitely got that, but what i didn't foresee was the quality of the hotel. the main door didn't shut properly, the beds were old and springy, the t.v was a 12" tube, and the wifi that was advertised as free didn't exist. i stayed in the building that was unattached to the main building and lobby so i hope that the rest of the hotel is of higher quality. there is only contenental breakfast in the winter months, the summer months all you get is 10% off the nearest restaurant. if what you're after is low cost and great location then this is your place, but if you desire any level of quality to your room, i'd find somewhere else.

Big rooms but very old

Horrible place
Roomd dirty. Lock broken, had to change to a different room. Second room AC did not work, roofing shingles deposited in room. Third room was smoker room ( had requested non smoking room).

Dirty hotel rude front desk staff

checking out
There are rooms that are old on the out side wing of the hotel and rooms in the tower. I was given a room in the outside wing. The front desk staff and the manager were rude. I would not recommend this hotel

good location

accessible to the falls
generally it was a nothing special but solid. good for those with cars since it had parking outside your room and close to clifton hill where all the kids amusements were and a short walk down to the falls.

Great rooms with spacious floor plans

Separate living room from bed room
All in all it was a great trip. Another couple from out of town came to my wife and i to plan a nice night out for the 4 of us. With a mixture of a perfect night life right by the falls and games at the casino there was no one dull moment in our stay. We enjoyed it so much we are thinking about doing it once a year as a tradtional kind of thing.
