Schöne kleine Anlage, freundlicher Service

Von unserer "Poolside"-Villa musste man zwar noch ein Stück gehen bis man den Pool erreichte, aber Zimmer und Bad waren sehr geräumig und sauber. Ein Nachteil: Hinter unserer Villa (Südseite der Anlage) lag wohl eine Karaoke-Bar, so dass viele Nächte bis spät sehr laut waren.
Der Pool ist kleiner als es auf den Fotos aussieht und war stark besucht. Aber er ist sehr schön mit Schattenplätzen und hat ein angrenzendes Kleinkindbecken mit vielen Spielsachen, aus dem unsere dreijährige kaum mehr raus wollte.
Der Weg zum (schönen) Strand dauert keine 5 Minuten zu Fuß, man sieht das Meer vom Tor der Anlage aus.
Zahlreiche Restaurants und auch Geschäfte/Apotheken in Laufentfernung, aber ein Ort ist zu Fuß nicht zu erreichen.
Sightseeingempfehlung:
Meter-Taxis sind von hier aus leider kaum zu bekommen (außer vom Flughafen zum Hotel), so dass man stark überteuerte Taxis nehmen muss. Unsere Empfehlung ist eher, tageweise ein Auto zu mieten. Wir haben bei Andaman Car Rental (aus dem Hotel links die Straße entlang, um einige Kurven, ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuß an einer Straßenecke auf der linken Seite) für einen Tag (günstigster Autotyp) umgerechnet ca. 25 EUR bezahlt.

In Thailand sollte eine funktionierende Klimaanlage als Standart gegeben sein. Das Badezimmer muss dringed renoviert werden. Überall leckt es, Wasser tritt aus und es roch unangenehm.
Empfehlung zum Hotel:
Bang Tao Beach ist sicher einer der schönsten und weitläufigsten Strände hier in Phuket. Es gibt genügend andere Unterkunftsmöglichkeiten, die ebenfalls ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis aufweisen und nicht vergleichbar sind mit dem Zustand dieses Hotels.

Ok, can improve on breakfast and not repetitive, also the toilets need more ventilation at least exhaust fan will do...

Relaxing
Location, nice pool villas, clean room, close to the beach

We weren't disappointed, the poolside villa was spacious and clean, great for pre-breakfast reading or evening relaxation.
Bed was large and comfortable.
Free large bottle of drinking water was left in the room on most days.
Pool was nice and clean, beach towel available.
Staff slightly aloof. Breakfast was basic and cold but good serving times 07.30 - 10.30 hrs.
Bang Tao was quiet but we did visit in low season. The resort is very close to the beach. Nice Reggae bar on the beach.

close to the beach

its a 1 minute walk to the beach which is good and there are a couple of ok restaurants near by but i wouldnt stay here again as i think its overpriced compared to other hotels. nothing wrong with it but after staying at a lot of hotels on phuket id say this place needs to knock 30% of the rates (1700 i paid)....but location is as good as you get for a non beachfront...nok and joys restaurant is nice around the corner and yellow bar is a small lively expat sort of place
