STAYED FOR A WEEK
RECEPTION-TV AND ROOM SERVICE
I STAYED THERE FOR A FULL WEEK. AT START WE HAD A VERY BAD INTERNET EVEN TWO DAYS DID NOT HAVE INTERNET AT ALL. HAD TO BUY A DATA SIM RS 2000 INR TO BE ABLE TO GET INTERNET. ALTHOUGH WE PAID FOR BREAKFAST ADDITIONAL IN THE HOTEL ROOM WE DID NOT GO FOR IT AS EVERYDAY ITS THE SAME WITH NO VARIETY. AFTER THE REPAIR OF THE INTERNET , STILL WE HAD A VERY BAD CONNECTION.

Intercity Hotel

We stayed at this hotel twice... the first time checkin was fine but once we got to our room and unpacked i wanted a shower after travelling for ages and to my astonishment found that the shower was dribbling down and was luke warm. We complained and were shown other rooms available but it was the same scenario the water flow was not good so we decided to stay in the one we had. That night getting ready for bed i noticed we didnt have atop cover so i called room service who came promptly to our room. i told him the problem and he said that we had one in the cupboard feeling silly i thanked him apologised for bothering him and pulled out a duvet with its cover whilst putting it on the bed found that it was filthy lipstick marks and dirty marks all over it. I was by this time getting miffed as you can imagine as this was around 11 ish at night. The room service guy was called again and came back with a couldn't be bothered attitude i told him the problem again and was a bit of with him this time and asked for 'clean bedding' and showed him the dirty cover and duvet, we finally got fresh ones... the staff seemed lazy but in all fairness these people work all the hours god sends and i believe they musy be on 24 hour call... but this is down as a 4 star hotel.. i dont believe this is anywhere near this more like 2 star at best.... on the second visit things could not have been more3 different they had new staff which my husband noticed immediatley and they were eager to help, we had a different room with a window this time albeit with an awful view of run down buildings but the room itself was nice, again water flow is a problem and hot water heats up only in the morning... we had an early departure and were woken up by loud banging which at first we thought was coming from the Hotel but after jumping up and looking out of the window my husband realised it was the building poosite the hotel where work was being carried out.

Best Customer Experience/Great Location
Great Professional helpful staff, location, spacious rooms
To start with I would say that the hotel staff is outstandigly friendly and professional. Very specially the two gentleman seated at the reception. We had a bad start from delhi airport where the insane and horrible driver who was swearing all the way stating that he got stuck in a traffick jam cos " we tourist's" didnt know the route to the hotel. However, when he tried to abandon us middle of nowhere the one of the hotel staff (mohan)walked all the way from the hotel to pick us up :) when i reported that my first room had a bad smell . They quickly changed me to a better one and also arranged cabs for a better price back to airport even - Exceptional Customer Experience.

Location, cleanliness and executive room
We stayed here for 5 days & 4 nights. We had booked 2 executive rooms. At time of check-in, person on reception tried to allot us regular rooms saying that all executive rooms were full. On reminding that we have booked executive room, we were allotted two rooms. Room # 301 Nothing executive about this room. Very small room and bathroom. Looked identical to regular room. I felt that it was regular room given to us as executive room. Room # 304 Spacious room & bathroom. This was indeed executive room and worth the extra money spent. Breakfast was average lacking both variety and taste. Free wifi was not working for most part of our stay. Best part about this hotel was its location in heart of Karol Baug. It is located about 500mtrs from Metro Station and few hundred meters from karol baug market. The hotel was clean and service level was satisfactory apart from check-in experience
