Overpriced hotel but very good location
Location
This is a two-star hotel masquerading as a three-star hotel and charging four-star hotel prices! While it has a great location in Via del Corso, very close to Spanish Steps and the metro Spagna, the rooms are very basic and could do with a make-over. There is no place to store clothes and the wardrobe is an open metal construction with no shelving. The bathroom is poor standard and the fittings very basic. Despite its location and convenient access, I would not recommend this hotel and will not stay here again.

Pleasant, Pleased and Value for money.
Location, Staff friendliness and Value for Money
We checked into hotel and did not expect it to be that small. But we were later impressed by the staff friendliness. They speak good english and very helpful for any info you may need. The location of the hotel is superb as it is few steps away to the underground train, and all attractions. It is also located few steps away from all shoppings.

Perfect Location, Great Service but Small Rooms
Unbeatable location to main shopping streets, Spanish Steps, Metro station and most attractions
this is my third time staying at hotel del corso, and each time i have been pleasantly surprised by the warm service and the upkeep of the hotel despite its age. the location remains unbeatable, and the price is really good value for money! my only grouse is that the matresses and pillows in my room feel really worn out and provide no support for the weary bones worn out from the walking!

Good location, poor service and small room
Location
The location of this hotel is good but the reception was not friendly and room is small. We had asked the reception to book a taxi and price was 50euro to airport. When the taxi driver dropped us at the airport and the price was different by 20 euro when we argued he said that was the price, felt cheated by the hotel staff.

Small bedroom/window faces the Hotel hall/shame
Good location/try another hotel in the same area!
Breakfast room is dirty & small; food is no good. No service.
At the hotel people think that is normal to have this kind of unconfortable bedroom for the price. The only thing they tell you is that if you wanted a better room, you should pay for the most expensive one at their hotel! They are of no help! For the price, we should be intitled to have a better place.

Nice hotel in a fantastic location
Great location
Breakfast very poor
The hotel is in a great location in the centre of the main shopping area right by the Spanish steps, also in walking distance of the Piazza Navona, Trevi fountain, Pantheon. The reception staff were very polite and helpful. The room was ok - quite quiet because we were facing a courtyard rather than the street - but the carpet was quite grubby and the bathroom door was broken. The choice and quality of food at breakfast was severely lacking and we had to stand and wait for a table because the breakfast room was quite tiny. The breakfast staff were also quite harrassed - I didn't bother asking for tea because other people weren't getting the drinks they were asking for. Having said all that though I'd recommend this hotel to people looking for somewhere to stay that's central and not too expensive.
