About Desert Rose Resort

Description

The family-oriented apartments at Desert Rose Resort are a great alternative to staying on the strip at a fraction of the price. One-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments are the standard here, and they come complete with a full-sized kitchen, so home preparation of meals is a nice alternative to many expensive restaurants that Las Vegas is absolutely filled with. There are nice little perks here such as complementary parking. Many people prefer to avoid the masses that are typical of the massive resorts on the strip, and if that is what is desired, particularly if traveling with kids, this may be the perfect location.

The newest addition to the property is Ellington’s Bar and Grill, offering cocktails and savoring light meals in a relaxed atmosphere.

Well reocmmended
Excellent value. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff (even agreed to print out Go Las Vegas passes at no extra charge - these passes are also recommended/good value for money to see a few shows etc.). Pool and BBQ area great, son used gym a few times though we spent most time going out in Vegas. Room had all facilities wanted including cooking facilities (hardly used!).

One of the better report but csn be better
It is a good resort. However, when we checked in, there was some htting nose coming out of kitchen area. So we called the front desk and they said they will sens someone to check. We waited about hour but no one came. But when the AC reached the settemperature it stopped running so did the noise. So we called back the front desk not to send the person. We didn't know it is own or run by Wyndham and they tried to sell time share which i had to say no twice.

really rude and snobby front desk help
the rude way in which the front desk treats their customers starts right when you walk to the counter to check in. first lady acted like she was better then everyone and felt like she needed to talk down to us. which is really bad service considering we had already payed our hotel in full 3 months before we had even headed to the resort for our wedding/vacation week. the first lady who had been so rude to start was now saying we had to pay another 100 fee on top of the paid in full room. at this point i pulled up my agoda email confirmation of the paid in full price and while i was doing this she kept stating that this was all in my conformation email. once she was unable to find this in my conformation email only just that the room was paid in full and if there was any other charges like extra bed or room service or extra such charges would be applied to your room. nothing of another 100 deposit that she had said would be there. at this time she had called security over to i assume scare me and as the security asked if there was a problem to her which she is a supervisor of this establishment. i politely interpreted saying to the security officer that there was a problem that the fee i was being charged wasn't in the email or the website itself. at this point i asked for her boss and she persisted to say i am the supervisor. i had then told her i know there is someone above you and i would like to speak with them please. she called her boss who took 30 mins to finally get over to us. during this time she had been trying to find the fee in writing on the agoda website. when she could not she just moved her screen so i could no longer see and persisted to state that it was on the site. her manager then asked the issue and i explained it to him and how everything in my email said that it was paid in full and they had no way of showing that their was an extra fee of 100 . being on vacation having spent 300 on a rental 800 something for the room plus my wedding ceremony

Good location, deserved suites
well installed suites, kitchen, good price
Good installed suites, 2 bedroom 2 bathroom are better for families. There is a kitchen with 8 sets of dinnerware and kinds of pans. We like them. It is also a very quiet and clear place to stay around the Strip Street. Deserved price.
