Nice hotel with local feel, great location!

Location is perfect, near everything but quiet. Good sized room, breakfast included and helpful staff.
Most of the time was spent out exploring Phnom Penh. The hotel does lock up late in the evening but someone sleeps downstairs to let guests in. Near everything but on a quiet side street so no problem sleeping. Felt very secure.

have found better in this area for the same money

it is ok just
the room was small, breakfast was so so and if you are there on a Friday or Sat night, you might find it noise due to a live band close by with very loud music

Great location and staff

Location staff cleanliness
Good budget place, near everything and staff are tops. French toast and strong iced coffee were a great start to the day.Downside, rooms quite small and steep concrete stairs! Get first floor if you can.

Perfect little spot to stay in Phnom Penh

Location is ideal---walking distance from the bus station, and a short walk to local sights. Very comfortable (if cozy) rooms. Very helpful and friendly staff.
This was a blind draw on my part, as I'd never stayed in Phnom Penh before and didn't know what to expect. I'm thrilled that I got so lucky.

Great location

Location, price, safety
The hotel is literally across the road from the beautiful palace. We could see it as soon as we opened our door. It's also a good distance from lively area. It's around a 10-15 minute walk which is just about far enough to not be too loud, yet close enough to not miss out. As for the rooms, they are fairly good, though I probably wouldn't stay more than 2-3 nights.

Excellent attitude

Staff was great, always putting a smile on their faces. Price is reasonable and location is good, near to tourist and local restaurant. Breakfast included and have 7 selection of your choice..
Only thing that you will need to take note is the rooms are kinda small, so it subject to individual as I like cozy feeling and I don't need a wardrobe. Another thing is for safety reason, they lock the gate at midnight so it's abit inconvenient and embassing to keep on waking the staff up to unlock for me as I always go in and out at night.

Diamond Palace II

The location and the character of the hotel were the immediately spotted best two things. The cleanliness and comfort came next. There were no poor points.
I enjoyed the hotel greatly: the bedrooom was small enough to allow the air conditioning to function effectively, while also being big enough to enjoy a bit of space. It was spotlessly clean. When travelling I always assume the person who designed the shower room has never himself had a shower, as the floor is paved with shiny ceramic tiles which are a lethal death trap: one easy slip and you've cracked your skull. This one was no exception: just use a towel on the floor to keep safe. I did not avail myself of any meal facilities as being so close to all the bright light of the waterfront I took it for granted that these were the things and places to head for: the hotel was for sleeping and washing in, and storing the stuff in my bag.
