Great relaxing holiday location

Beaches pools restaurants great massage and a good trip out on a boat or to the night markets
The best things are the location on the beach. It has beautiful grounds with 2 really nice pools and a slide. Our kids loved it and could play in the yard/ play ground/ kids room while we relaxed. There's great food at the restaurant and awesome thai BBQ up the road till 4pm.

Pleasant stay but the hotel is expensive

Location, peaceful and well kept.
Our stay was very relaxing and we could not fault the hotel staff. The hotel is in a superb location and very clean. It is ideal for families and very safe. We did feel that the prices were to high and this prevented us from staying at the hotel all the time.

Fantasic family resort

Cater to families and kids in every way (amenities, staff, indoor and outdoor activities, beach has a VERY gradual slope into the water so young children can go way out
Fantastic. We have gone back 4 times and will try to go there more than once this year. Everything is outstanding for a family with small kids.

Nice Place to Visit and Relax a Few Days

Swimming pools, water slide, location
The suite we booked said kids stay free if using existing bedding. So we planned for this and brought what we needed with us (driving from our home in Thailand). However, at check in they insisted we pay for an extra bed, that cluttered the room and blocked the balcony access. The resort has all the facilities you need for a few days with the kids, and the quiet location and beach access made it a pleasant stay.

Favorite Place

The Food, Location, Atmosphere
It is at least our 12th time to the Resort and we love it every time. The Food has gotten better and better every time we visit! Loved the addition of Pancakes and french toast to the breakfast buffet! The only Downside was our bed was a bit on the hard side, but I find that to be true at most hotels I have stayed at! Service is excellent and the staff is very friendly. It is nice to see faces of staff that have been there for as long as we have been going! I would highly recommend it for Families!

Great for a family with small kids

Facilities for children, shop, spacious room
The resort has everything that caters for children, which also allows parents to relax during holiday. This was our second visit staying in a 3 bedroom villa. Our first stay was on the second floor with balcony. It was very big and nice room, but it seemed that it is better to have our own swimming pool since the big pool could be very crowded during weekend. This time we stayed downstairs with swimming pool. It was as great as we expected but the group of people staying upstairs was very noisy. They were in and out all the time so we couldn't relax by the pool. The resort is very good and could be great depending on the other guest staying next to you or upstairs.

Lovely Hotel

Location, staff, food
We had our second stay at Dolphin Bay. It is a lovely spot on a quieter strip of beach, the road is much less busy than you'll find in Hua Hin, which means it's better for cycling etc. I find it a lovely mellow beach town. I think the resort is the better spot on the beach, though new options are being built. But if you've kids from 2-10 it seems like a perfect spot. It's nothing super fancy, but it is well taken care of and the owners and staff are great. The owners are French so they bring a nice touch to the food. Well priced, delicious fare and a very good mix of european or thai cuisine, both down very well without the sticker shock you might get at large hotel chain. We've the resort twice now as a short 3-4 day getaway from Bangkok, hiring a car and driver from Bangkok ( about 2,500thb), and getting some fresher air and sunshine. So far we've found it a nice mix of young families from all over.

pleasant enough 3 night stay

location, convenience of restaurant , facilities
We have stayed here many times over the years. It is the best option for this stretch of the beach. We were basically pleased, but a little disappointed with the breakfast this time. Not many guests due to low season, but staff are always attentive to guests. TV channel selection has improved, but the bed was not comfortable. The last night of our stay we lost internet, probably due to high demand from a large group of high school students who checked in for a weekend retreat. Overall, we are pleased with the resort.
