Dragon Disappointment..

1. cheap rate 2. nice receptionist and uncle bell boy
at first when i choose a Family room online i saw 3 single beds at Dragon Palace but when we get there they gave us a family room with 1 queen bed and 1 single bed. i called the receptionist but they said that they dont have family room with 3single beds.. i felt cheated. we were not happy coz we r 3 diffrent people..but they made an effort by letting us consider another family room.they showed us one of the not so nice room there but we did not took it coz d ambiance was not so nice.dragon palace room is better so we had no choice but to accept the first room that they gave us & we just requested additional blanket for d one who use d queen sized bed.. Another thing was d people at the breakfast hall. They also talked and laugh about us via their language..we dont understand but we feel its about us.. when we ask for Omelette and beef noodles they were so rude when they gave us the food..they also talked and looked at us so fierce. we felt under estimated.. Every morning their breakfast food was the same.. No variance.. hotel never offer any adaptors for charging gadgets and phones.. we had a hard time charging phone via USB port in their TV..its damn slow.. and first thing we do not like in the hotel was they get our passports before check in.. its our first time to experience that.. most hotels only see or photo copy the front page of guest passports but not necessarily keeping it for our entire stay.. .. im sorry but we are a bit disappointed.. but thanks to the front staff the girl who offer tour and the 2ladies at the reception area and the uncle bellboy/guard/deliveryman..

Terrific stay at Dragon Palace

Location, Staff, Comfort
Arrived early and the staff had our room ready before 11am. Super convenient location with many restaurants and bars nearby. Had an executive park view room which was spot on comfy and clean with quite new furnishings. All staff are friendly and helpful and the tour desk did a great job organising our transfers to Vung Tau by hydrofoil. I will definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone who is seeking accommodation in the backpackers district.

Honest Hotel

Trustworthy Staff, Cooperative, Efficient
Most remarkable and memorable one! I left my important document bag containing Money, Mobile Phone, Credits, my driving licence and other important things on a Chair in the Lobby. After checking out @ 12.30noon, I took my other bags and forgot the important bag. I than went on for lunch meeting and left straight to Airport arrived at about 5.45PM. Imagine only than when I was off loading my other bags I realized my small bag was MISSING! I started sweating and my Vietnamese friend called the hotel only to be told they found a black back on the chair and its there safe. I had no time to collect so I left. Next morning my local friend collected and informed me all things were in tact. What A Beauty of the STAFF. A Big Clap and cheers for their honesty! I Love VIETNAM! I will go back just to stay with them and thank all of them personally! Thats how beautiful my stay was in Dragon Palace Hotel in addition to their lovely breakfast daily in the morning!KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

Lush big room (suite) with cracking deal - luxury!

Elegant touches, location, massive bed
We booked a great deal through agoda and got an executive suite for £25 a night which was fab value. But..... When we arrived we were taken to a smaller 'double' which was not like the pictures. After a bit of mucking around we eventually got moved to the room we'd booked so all was fine. Just watch out! Top floor, supreme views, massive room with tables and chairs and telly in a decent position. Nice toilettries and good comfy bath which filled quickly. Had the breakfast.... unless you want some odd eggs and dry bread or Vietnamese noodley stuff I wouldn't recommend it but hey, it was free! I would stay again as location is right in the heart and with that deal was great value and I wa very comfortable in the room.
