Our stay
Awesome place beautiful setting and great staff. The free breakfast was very good and changed each day. The price was very good considering all that's offered. Friendly and helpful staff. I'd recommend it and the island hopping tour.

Stay at Dumaluan 2!
Resort fit our need. Big (93 sq m) room for 4 adults and 2 kids. 2 king sized beds and a sofa plus a dining area. It also came with free breakfast for 5 people. The beachfront was so pristine you could see the fishes. Sand was powder fine. 3 minute walk to the famous Bohol beach club for meals since the food selection at Dumaluan 2 is not so great. Dumaluan2 also has 2 nice pools. And there's a public resort besides Dumaluan that serves affordable grilled food as well. Its far from Alona but if you want peace and quiet, this is the place. FYI. Room we stayed in (Dumaluan Suite) was a little outdated. Staff kept on forgetting to place towels BUT they reponded quickly when requested. Would i come back? Yes.

Perfect location but facilities need upgrade
The location was perfect as it is near Bohol Beach Club and South Palms. The beach does not disappoint but the room and bathroom need repair. Water supply is not that good so flushing the toilet is not that efficient anymore. Selection of food in the buffet breakfast should also be upgraded.

Was disappointed
- First we got a Room without cabinet or anything to store the clothes - changed room (upgrade) was ok - hotel was clean! - food took too long (30 to 45 min) - waiters are very slow or forgot what we ordered - drinks took 20 min - beach is awesome but no shadow!!

Sleepy Beach Resort.
the place is too far from everything. its secluded the beach front does not even have beach umbrella and the chairs were not arranged on the beach. you have to bring the chair if you want to sit there.I. feel like we were there just to eat and sleep no activities .

they should at least have an intercom in the rooms. Overtime you need something you will have to walk all the way to the reception area even if its just for additional towels. Location and beach is very nice but they have to improve their service in the restaurant in particular. It takes a long time before your order is served. food is quite expensive and serving is too small for the price your paying. Their free buffet breakfast should have more variations they should at least add bacon and hash brown , danger dried fish and a bread toaster to toast the bread. They are not under staff but still service is slow

Excellent Holidays
The hotel and facilities themselves are great. It has direct access to the beach, and the bar. It is possible to swim there, though you will always be able to reach the sand with your feet. The sea also smells of salt, which is always a warm welcome. The hotel is nicely located, 20 mins away from Alona beach where all the fuzz happens. However, the price of tricycle taxi (and taxi) get very expensive the moment you are with a puti (=white people). We paid 500php from the Tagbilaran pier to the hotel for a trycicle taxi. Tip: Buy water bottles before coming ! The Hotel doesn't provide bottled water (it's a surprise, normally they all give at least one/day), and the hotel shop sells the 50ml water @60php, a rip off.
