Great location - close to monorail and also niche bars and eateries. The convenience of having kitchen washing machine and dryer was great. Huge rooms, 2nd toilet. Very modern furnishings and clean. Pool looked great, but did not use. Room not ready on check in and was very busy at reception - took a while. Check out was quick.

Bad customer serivce it should be rated as 3 stars or below
The apartment furniture is torn out , it was not clean at all , stains everywhere and the cleaning level is really bad there is hair between the pillows which was awful and on top of the the staff were unhelpful and rude and when i complained to the top management they just simply dont care , the rating doesnt reflect the level expected and it should be demoted to 3 stars and i dont recommend it

Good location, spacious room, but stains everywhere
The location is very convenient for food in Jalan Alor, just about 10 minutes walk. The room is spacious, the two bedroom suites has two en-suite bathrooms plus one toilet in the living area, AC working well. The interior design is chic and comfortable. However there's water stain / food stain on the surfaces in both bathrooms and kitchen - BUT - they are just some unremovable stains, the surface was clean enough to use for one or two day short stay.

Poor public relations
No smiles at the front desk, often met with harsh tones and unfriendly staff when calling the operator or reception for assistance. I expected more from a five star hotel.

Amazing
Great modern design and spacious rooms, with a nice view and in a good location. the only thing is i had troubles navigating there because it is located between buildings.

Convenient stay for business purposes
Stayed for a night for an early meeting in the city center, it has a very convenient location. Did not venture much on the facilities of the residence but from the look of it, it is very well maintained. In terms of the unit of stay, it has a very strong smell which i believe it was from the previous customer. Also the drainage overflow in the toilet when i was draining the water from the bath tub which has an unpleasant smell as well. The kitchen utensils are quite complete and well equipped with fridge, microwave, washing machine etc which is great for a long stay. On the day of check out, the cleaner came ringing the door bell at 11 when i return for check out which i find quite alarming as the check out time was 12. Maybe this is the routine of a service residence which i am not aware of. Other than that I was satisfied with the stay.

3 star at best
This was my second stay at E&O. I first stayed when it was newly opened and was very happy with my stay however in only a few years the apartments have become so shoddy and terrible. Our room stunk of sewerage coming from the bathroom which filtered into the bedroom. We mentioned this to the rude girl at the front desk who said yes there's a sewerage problem and left it at that. During our 2 weeks across Vietnam we stayed at Accor hotels twice and one other luxury accommodation. Therefore my standards of service was a high expectation especially as E&O touts itself as being 5 star. The 2 sinks in the bathroom were blocked, the fan in th lounge room didn't work, the aircon was switched off by housekeeping and we returned to a boiling stuffy apartment. The hot water was not switched on prior to checking in so we had to wait for that to heat up to. An absolutely disgusting stay for a place that should only be rated 3 stars at best. The only good thing was that we were able to keep our room until 2pm (then it would incur a charge). I had notified the front desk girl of all the room issues and not once did she offer an apology (this was while we still had 1 night to go). So please do not book here unless you want to pay 5 star prices for a 3 star place.
