The property is situated in a modern five-story building, but guests get a feel of authenticity with Colle Oppio Park just around the corner with its famous ruins of Domus Aurea. Reaching the entrance of the Colisseum itself is just a matter of crossing the ruins. There are many small bars and trattorias in the immediate neighborhood, adding to the local charm. The hotel features 55 rooms with individually controlled air conditioning, central heating, and en-suite bathrooms. Centrally located to several Roman attractions, you can't go wrong with a stay at Edera Hotel.

Good hotel on hill side

24hrs front desk, near metro station, tasety capuccino
Good hotel near the Colosseo and metro station. The front desk opens 24 hrs and it is convenient for business guests. Capuccino and coffee in breakfast were good taste.

Great location, not so great room

4 minutes to the coloseum, close to food and gelato, metro also close
The staff are very unfriendly. The bed in my room was hard, they had placed a bed frame around the matters and base, so each time you bumped the frame it moved. I stayed 4 nights and my sheets were not changed. Breakfast was very basic. If it wasn't for its approximation to the Colosseum then this hotel is one to be avoided.

Location, Breakfast,Air Conditioned.
9First the Good Points. Air conditioned, great location, comfortable bed and great breakfast. The Lady at breakfast was very nice and helpful.Very large room size. The Bad: The room is very, very old,and an old box Television with 1 working channel.sometimes!!)Old carpet but modern bathroom beautifully tiled and a fibreglass bath with a crack in it.(Reported to desk manager who really didnt care. The Desk Manager who was on duty when we arrived needs to get a lesson in customer service, hopeless. We would not recommend this hotel aspart from location and we have travelled many many times.

Edera hotel

The breakfast, location and value for money
My stay was good overall just 3 things I felt the staff could be a bit more friendly. My room was next to a scoop nursery which meant no siesta time from the noise of school kids. Lastly the shower needed fixing but otherwise good value for money

Perfect Location for the Colosseum

Price, Location, Hotel standard
This hotel is a little gem being walking distance from the Termini Railway Station and less than 300m from the Colosseum. The room is a reasonable size, the water is hot and surprise there is a bidet (which appears to be almost a standard feature in Italy). The air conditioner works well (it was 40+) and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was the same each morning but more than adequate. Coffee was good. The street is quiet and there are plenty of good little restaurants close by. There is also a laundry back on the main road which will do your wash, dry and fold for 10E. I spent 7 nights at the Edera and will return with my partner when I next go to Italy.

Decent stay

Clean, quiet, value for money
Greater by a friendly staff. The big is by much Italian designed and clean. No problem if you travel during winter or summer as they hv air conditioning. Approx 10min walk from the metro, quite challenging to walk on the bumpy pavement with bulky luggage.

Good Value for Money

Close to Colosseum, Cleanliness, Affordable
I chose Edera Hotel mainly because it was close to the Colosseum and since it was much cheaper compared to other Hotels. The hotel room was nothing fancy, but it catered for everything I needed as it provided AC, TV, large bathroom and a comfy bed. I loved the Breakfast especially as it is not the usual English breakfast which are normally full of fatty and greasy stuff. In fact the breakfast consisted in a selection of Ham, Salami and other type of meat, together with a variety of warm. delicious (trust me they were amazing) croissants, pies, cereals and other sweet pastries. They also provided orange juice and coffee.
