About Edera Hotel

Quiet, cool, and centrally located, Edera Hotel is a great base from which to explore the Italian capital. The property is situated in a modern five-story building, but guests get a feel of authenticity with Colle Oppio Park just around the corner with its famous ruins of Domus Aurea. Reaching the entrance of the Colisseum itself is just a matter of crossing the ruins. There are many small bars and trattorias in the immediate neighborhood, adding to the local charm. The hotel features 55 rooms with individually controlled air conditioning, central heating, and en-suite bathrooms. Centrally located to several Roman attractions, you can't go wrong with a stay at Edera Hotel.

Location is the big plus
Positives (spotlessly clean, towels are pure white) do not outweigh the negatives in this hotel. Wi-fi is seriously useless, cannot even download emails because of the link speed which was pathetic. Male reception staff are cold and unhelpful. No personality or public relations manner about them AT ALL. But if those negatives dont bother you, the location is perfect. It's proximity to the Colosseum...less than ten minutes walk through a beautiful big park...the restaurants, shops and bars nearby, and the transport system in this area is excellent.

Good hotel on hill side
24hrs front desk, near metro station, tasety capuccino
Good hotel near the Colosseo and metro station. The front desk opens 24 hrs and it is convenient for business guests. Capuccino and coffee in breakfast were good taste.

Great location, not so great room
4 minutes to the coloseum, close to food and gelato, metro also close
The staff are very unfriendly. The bed in my room was hard, they had placed a bed frame around the matters and base, so each time you bumped the frame it moved. I stayed 4 nights and my sheets were not changed. Breakfast was very basic. If it wasn't for its approximation to the Colosseum then this hotel is one to be avoided.
