Breakfast, included in the tariff, consists of a buffet of fresh fruits, cereals, ham, cheese, fruit juices, home-baked muffins and croissants as well as a cooked English breakfast with a selection of savoury mince, sauteed mushrooms, smoked bacon, sausage, roasted tomato, chicken livers and toast with honey, jam and homemade marmalade. Complimentary tea and coffee is served for guests at 11:00 and 16:00 respectively. A selection of coffees, teas, homemade treats, light snacks and lunches are available to guests throughout the day, served in the garden, at the pool, on the Garden Terrace or in the sunroom. Dinner in the air-conditioned Oak Room Restaurant offers guests an a la carte menu with a good choice of dishes including local favourites – ostrich fillet, trout, Cape Malay chicken curry and seafood – the menu also includes a vegetarian and kiddies section. Our wine list has an excellent selection of Cape wines, ports and brandies.
