Total relaxation in a great resort

Fantastic stay in the newer part of the hotel after changing from the bungalows we'd booked as they only had a double bed rather than twins. Fantastic quiet pool - and no need to go down at down to reserve a spot! Could do with another snack bar or restaurant as the choice is limited. Staff really friendly... Would definitely stay here again

The Fair House Hotel Resort is located just out of town. You can either walk to town or grag the local tuks to town. The restaurant is right on the beach and breakfast views in the morning are fantastic. The pool area is very well maintained and the beach is foot stepts away.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Reserve an upgraded room for a little more money and the room will be much nicer. Ignore the salesman on motor bikes telling you that you have won something. They are selling timeshares. Do not get on the local transportation without asking the price. Eat at the local restaurant, Ninja, for good, cheap, Thai food. There are two Fair House Resorts. Make sure you pick the one you want.

Lovely resort & staff, beach a disappointment
staff were fantastic with our children and nothing was too difficult

In general, we thought it was a lovely resort. But the downsides which would mean we would not come back are:
The beach is unswimmable for a large part of the year and definately not childfriendly, I would not stay in a room up on the hill again as that was too difficult with children, it seemed to only be German tourists and hardly any families, which was not fun for our son who would have loved to find someone to play with and speak either English or Swedish - it didn't feel like a good international blend of nationalities. Ultimately, for our family, we think the Bophut area would have been a better choice for us. We were also disappointed how much we had to pay for an extra bed for our youngest son!

Friendly staff and nice beach area. Room was a litle dark and aircon didn't really do the job. Overall it was fine.
