This was the second 2 weeks of our honeymoon in Goa.
Upon arrival we got a friendly welcome and the most beautiful bed decorations.....that is it!
Most of the staff were lazy one in the restaurant was very rude and served at least 12 Russians before us that were behind us!! Russians do make uop about 90% of their customers but they should not be given preferential treatmeant though clearly this was very much the case. Some days we got towels some days not. Our alledgedly clean sheets were bloodstained on first change and plates and knives used on our first day were still dirty in our room a week later. I confronted the manager who called in heads of housekeeping and dining. He was very apologetic and things did improve but still not as you'd expect. We paid for bed abd breakfast but only had breakfast twice as we refused to go anywhere near the extremely rude man there. The one plus is it is handy for the beach. All in all we will never use this chain of hotels again even if you tried to pay us. We do not like being so negative but we needed to be honest.

Beautiful Resort With a Great Location

A beautiful resort located walking distance from Colva beach in South Goa. The resort has excellent rooms all of which open into the swimming pool. Nice restaurant and a pool side bar. The approach road to the beach leads into a relatively clean portion of the beach where you have adequate privacy in addition to logistics support from the shacks. The gymnasium can improve. Security within the resort is adequate. Sufficient car parking.

An excellent resort with a great location. Beautifully laid out rooms and all of them opening out onto the swimming pool which is in the centre of the resort. Very nice bathrooms and very clean. The Colva beach is about 200 yards from the resort. Early morning walks, day time lounging as also late night parties on the beach are comfortably accessible. Adequate car parking and security is available.

Great hotel with great pool
The pool was really nice. Clean nice rooms with high standard.

The only hotel we could find with a pool in this area. It is needed though the beach is not so cosy.
300 meters to the beach. The suroundings is not that nice though.

Overall a pleasant stay in Golden Palms, lovely pool view from our spacious room. However, lots of flying insects in front door light as door is facing open field. Flies into room while opening of door.
