Chris B. Solo travelers Belgium, January 15, 2015

Maybe locotion, staff, beach
It was a mixed emotions stay and due to the room had lots issues I checked out after two days.. They really need to work on it caste the resort is sure not a 5 star .. Wooden floors at pool broken, foods are mediocre so time that they bring in some serious people to be back on track ..
Munkhjargal O. Couples Mongolia, January 5, 2015

feel the room was poorly prepared basic amenities not functioning as stated, limited choice of rental cars tried to give me a car with tire threads damaged, spa is limited in that only go there for the massage which was pretty good.

Fantastic. Spoil yourself.

The views were amazing, the ambience fantastic and loved the entire layout
This was the second last of many resorts we stayed at and it was far and above the best throughout Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. We loved the room, the views, the location (quiet, cocktails on the beach and above all it offered an a la carte breakfast rather than the constant buffets offered everywhere else. We found the staff fantastic, loved the Thai restaurant within the resort and after travelling around found the spa prices very reasonable indeed. Organised our own tour guide in town and discovered that the corner of the island we stayed in was very tranquil compared to the rest of the island. Couldn't fault this one.

it is not a 5 stars hotel

none none none
this is not a 5 stars hotel i arrived with my girlfriend on the evening of 6th jan. luckily we booked for one night only in order to see how the hotel is like, and if we wish to stay longer. we went at 8pm to eat at the intercontinental 15 minutes drive, and the hotel driver (they charged 300 baht for) asked if we want him to come and take us back. we answered yes! , at 22:00 please pick us up.! at 10pm he wasn't there , it took us long time to get hold of the hotel in the phone , and a driver came to pick up up half hour later. of course they insisted to charge us... the room door lock was broken , the door couldn't be locked , at 23:30 they came to fix it , they couldn't , they said the engineer is not available, maybe we can sleep leaving the door open at night, using only the door chain, we agreed then we finally got into bed, we saw 3 long black hairs in our bed, we called them, they moved us to another room with a smell that you can't ignore, we found out that it comes from the air-condition, had to shut it down and go to sleep without it. we decided to leave the next day. in the morning we went for breakfast , fruits served were not fresh. poor breakfast, but with a smile. a side issue to service, and maintenance , at our time of stay the hotel does not have water in the beach in front , so you can not really swim, or do anything in the water. we suffered from this wrong booking. big mistake ! for summary, the staff try their best , but it is not enough in order to be considered a 5 stars hotel. if you look for a real 5 stars , don't go to elements otherwise you might need to deal with too many issues on your vacation time, and spoil your vacation.
Mun Y. Couples Malaysia, January 2, 2014

quiet surroundings, romantic, near to beach
i was actually quite disappointing with this resort. we were told that the room was under repair during check-in. And therefore they changed us to another hotel which we think it's not worth the money that we paid for. nevertheless we still think that this resort is good for couples who want a lovely and peaceful holiday.
