Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. OK for a sleep over

Location

It is in a very good location and it is easy to find near Jordan station. The receptionist does not speak English. Don't expect warm welcome in these type of hotels they just want to get you to sleep and leave. A deposit if required, The receptionist needs to do some people skills training. Temple street market is not far. On the whole OK.

Great location

Great location. Price is ok. Staff leave you alone.

Stay was ok. Close to things is ok. It's in a busy area so a bit noisy at night even with double glazed windows. Right on Nathan road with views is ok for the money.

TO whom it may concern, If you are thinking of staying at the Embassy Hotel there are a few things you should know first; The rooms are so small that you cant fit any baggage with you (only carry-on baggage).. The beds are only 5 ft long.. the aircon didnt work the TV only had 3 Chinese speaking channels with only remote control the rooms have a smell = like old gym socks we stayed in the Japan room with the worst carpet in the world, dirty and smells i think the rooms have never been cleaned.. but the shower does have hot water.. its the best part of the room The only other good part about our stay was that the rooms are near the Jordan train station. If you are paying would also like to have someone working on the reception.. on the slight chance that someone is at the reception they cant speak English and they dont look after their personal hygiene (stinky feet that stinks out the hallway) I wouldnt call it a Hotel but more like a hostel.. but that wouldnt be correct to all those hostels out there because all hostels ive been to are cleaner and more tourist friendly.. Hong Kong is a great place to visit but for such a modern place there hotels and hostels are 30 years behind. Nothing was stolen. Leaving the hotel was the best part of our stay..

Not good at all...

location, cost and nothing else
3.7
I stayed at this place for the first and last time this Saturday (on the night of January the 31st to February 1st). Granted, the price is cheap. But the place is not nice - except the great location near Jordan MTR station. The personnel not only don't understand or speak english, but they keep arguing in cantonese, be it afternoon or early morning! I didn't even have the kettle in my "Japan room", where the decoration is childish and cheap (Hello Kitty's plastic paper bags stuck to the wall). Yes, no wardrobe; just some coat-hangers on the back of the door. Found a socket plug to charge the mobile, but had to get it in a certain position to work. The tv has no remote control. The bathroom is tiny and there's no shower curtains, everything gets wet. It's got a window to Nathan Road, so the noise is increased. And the curtains are not dark. Also it was cold and had to pull the cuvet (mintoi) from the other bed over mine to sleep warmer...
