Fine value for money hotel

a well known hotel near luxor temple. a bit old, but great value for money. rooms are provided with two separate beds, in room safe, fridge, television with many channels (mostly arabic but also dubai 1 and 2 which broadcast english spoken films often, and bbc world plus a polish channel). cleaning is generally good. breakfast is a simple buffet with some cheese, marmelade, bread rolls, omelets cooked at order, traditional egyptian food like ful (fava beans), coffee and tea and some juice. nothing special, but sufficient. large rooftop terrace where it is great to sit and have a drink, watching the sun set behind luxor temple and the nile; there is also a (small) swimming pool here. recommended hotel for those who do not want a western style, luxurious hotel. tip: if you have to pay for your stay on the spot, make sure to bring enough (egyptian) cash. although agoda prices are usually agreed in us$ the hotel will change this into egyptian pounds (at the correct exchange rate); if you want to use your credit card to pay, you'll be charged 5% extra for the use of the card. atm's not far away.

Good service and nice view

Luxor temple and Nile River view from hotel
This hotel is fit to a person who wants to relax in quiet circumstances and enjoy the view of the Nile river. The day and night view from the rooftop(including cafeteria and outdoor swimming pool) was so nice. Clerks, especially in the reception desk, are very kind. Breakfast was not bad, but there aren't enough choises and breads don't taste good.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Luxor temple, within 10 minutes by walk
