Disappointing arrival process
The check in process is horrible. When we arrived in our cab even though there was a staff standing at the entrance no one helped us with our luggage. When I went to check in, it took a good 25 minutes to check in because of the ridiculously tedious and frankly stupid procedure of needing every single passport and knowing which persons will be in which room, needing each guest to sign in. When travelling with a group of 6+ people, all tired after a long drive, this is ridiculous. I booked 4 deluxe rooms, and had called beforehand to request the room combinations be 2 rooms with double beds and 2 rooms with twin beds, and I confirmed that it was not necessary for us to be on the same floor. When we arrived we were told they had upgraded us to club rooms so that we can be on the same floor and because of that 3 of our rooms had twin beds pushed together and 1 room with a double bed. Twin beds pushed together is not a double bed. The reasoning was that they wanted to put us on the same floor even though I had specifically informed the hotel that we didn't mind being on different floors. Then they said it was because the hotel was so full. It's all well and good to upgrade people, but you do not upgrade people at the expense of what they had specifically requested. Don't change our bed configuration requests etc to suit your own needs so you can take in more guests. Rather than have the upgrade to a room barely any bigger than the deluxe, we'd rather have had what we paid for and been comfortable. After the disastrous start at the hotel where no one assisted us with our bags I asked the reception during check in to please get a bellboy to start getting all our bags together to take to our rooms once the inane check in process was completed. By the time we were done checking in (which was a good long time), there was still no bellboy to assist. We waited with our bags for another few minutes and no one came so we just struggled with all our bags to get up

Great hotel.

Little bit old but room is big
It may be like old hotel , but room was big. It is not convenient place to go anywhere. But I u would like to stay at calm area in SG, then I can recommend this hotel.

Really cosy room!
We made really good use of our room as we stayed in the room from the time we checked in till we checked out. But that also shows that the room was too cosy for us to go out. We also had a complimentary upgrade.

Great Stay!
We chose the Furama Riverfront Hotel due to its strategic location, being just a 5-min walk from the congress venue. We managed to locate it through a 15-minute walk from Outram Park MRT station. The staff was very accommodating and efficient in facilitating our check-in :-) Our check out was also efficient in that not a single hassle was felt. Will definitely consider this place when going back to Singapore :-)

Need to change bathtub as it has many stain which made me feel uncomfortable. Need to vacuum the room when you make up the room.

Provide what you offer
We arrived very late after a long day form China to find the room we had booked in April was not available until next day. We agreed to spend the night in a twin bed room but it stank. It was on a smoking floor. We left this room and spoke with the staff who ran to the manager who wished to blame Agoda for the issue. I interpreted this to say they did not honour their bookings. Earlier in the year they had charged my credit card for the full stay so it was prepaid. In January Agoda booked mandarin Orchard for use- magnificent. This hotel old and worn out . We had only booked it as it was the conference hotel we came for. They were not friendly but were prevailed upon to give us a room on the so called executive floor. It was not a great room but had a king bed and we stayed 4 nights over conference. Had breakfast once- adequate Overall if it were our first time in Singapore it would have been a real turn off. I however have been travelling to Singapore since 1977 and in my work life several times a year for 25 years. Love Singapore!!! Agoda are also great. Location wide its not bad to walk on river walk but no MRT station ( I notice one is being built) Traffic is a menace here with poor crossings and front drive inadequate for pedestrians.
