Close to Metro, easy to use.

Value for money, 12 min walk to Metro, interesting local streets
It was fine, bathrooms may be tired but they are clean. Tea making in room and good amenities packs. Chinese hotel staff are not usually effervescent, so get over it. Everything is efficient.

Friendly helpful staff
This hotel is in a trashy area of Shanghai. It was near enough to the main train station to walk there but not as close as they said in the ad. The room was not clean, the closet was very small and the only WIFI is in the lobby, not in the room as advertised. Nothing that you want to do in Shanghai is nearby so you will spend any savings on taxis getting around. The restaurant and all of the other services that the hotel claims to have were closed.

Cheap but away from the Metro station

Cheap and value for money
From an international traveller's point of view the location isn't great. The property itself is old. I was expecting more from Ramada.

Some mistakes you only make once in life...

im a frequent traveller to shanghai found this hotel when my normal dig was full. price was ok, but rooms were old and no internet in room, it was available in reception, but only on and off, and depending on if the night receptionist was downloading or not. if you are looking for a cheap hotel in shanghai, dont mind the surroundings (its dead night time), dont need internet in your room and dont mind being overcharged for western food in the hotel bar, then this is a great place...

Good service

Service was good, had no need to bother the staff, except on check-in and out.
The room left something to be desired from the photos. They were nothing like the photos, basically. Bathroom was clean and regularly stocked. The bedroom was small and functional, not why I booked this hotel, and definitely not what I expected from the name. Carpets were dirty and stained. TV was not tuned. Cupboard space was minimal. Location was good for my purposes, though I'd buy a map and check the route before getting a taxi. Shanghai taxi-drivers seem to have reverted to type with tourists. Hotel is not in a quiet location, but there is sufficient soundproofing for road noise to be minimal.

Low price in Shanghai
Hotel needs renovation, but for the money you get good value. Poor english speaking staff.

International Brand but little old

Nice rooms and facilities
this hotel is relatively easy to find for taxi drivers in shanghai and is about a 10 minute walk to the line 1 subway station which is a burden in hot summer weather. the hotel itself is comfortable with big rooms but is quite in need of a major make over. the plus is the gym which can be arranged to be opened 24 hours a day. overall, decent stay and value for money.

normal business hotel

clean and neat room, but the bath tub is not working well
the room is clean and neat, offering toothbrush, shower ges...etc. it is a ok business hotel. but wifi is avaliable in lobby only, if you want to access to internet in room, you can use the "lans" line. the receptionist was a litu rude when checking in. i had reserved the room for 2 nights, but she said i had only reserved for 1 night and insisted me to pay for 1 more night room fee. her colleague told her that i reserved for 2 nights, obviously she over-looked it but blaming everything on customers. another weird thing, when i check-in, the receptionist asked what vehicle i took to go to shanghai. i dont know whether it is new policy from china govt, so you better not to throw away the boarding pass or train tix.
