Good location and nice exterior

this hotel is very popular and look really pretty on the outside. it is located in the center of klagenfurt, the room is pretty standard, on a small side but clean. no complains however it is quite expensive. i also stayed at sandwirth which is also near the city centre, has a more spacious room and bathroom at a more competitive price!

Great Location in town Centre

Stayed during the soccer wold cup. The town square 300 metres away had a stage with live music and a big viewing screen. The festivies where unbelievably loud - so much so that one other guest I spoke to tried to sleep in the bath to get away from the noise. When staying there if possible request an internal room away from the main streets. In particular their are rooms located on a little laneway on the side of the building furthest from the train station.

Found the hotel itself to be clean and in good condition but was not in any way cheap. Was the peak of summer and staying in a upper floor so found no air conditioning a bit tough. The completentary breakfast in the adjoining cafe was good, but the room did get a little crowded and sometimes we had trouble finding a seat. The main drawback to this hotel was the noise. Try to get a room not one of the main streets. Early morning deliveries to the shops below and roadworks ensured that we got absolutely no sleep in. Also there was a world cup soccer festival in the square down the street that was unbelievably loud of an evening.
