Value for money, short walk from train station
clean room, nice breakfast, value your money

My single room was very nice with TV and large space. Breakfast was good compared to the price. The hotel is near the Mirabell garden only 10 minutes walk.
One comment is that when I arrived in Salzburg in the evening at 18.00 and walk to the hotel, no staff was in the reception

excellent location & v. good breakfast

Located in the middle of main st. connected inbetween central st. & old town. And, close to walk to many attractions and the others you can walk also.
Central St. (HauptBahnHof) + Bus st. + Intl. Bus St. : 500 M / 8 Min. walk
Old Town (Center) + River : 700 M / 12 Min. walk
Bus st. front of hotel
Hop on Hop off Tourist Bus st. close (Not necessary) : 100 M / 2 Min. walk / about 15 Euro(But not necessary)
Resturant & Br. seems limitted but just the area is not big but the Br. is enough & have all kinds.
Room & Bath is good with many lamps & big window & Eng. channel & good soap!.
And, the staff give me Tea/Coffee Maker as my previous request and also, tea.
P.C. in lobby with free Net.
The disadvantages: (is not important to me)
1- Some noise from closed moved trains.
2- Staff are working untill 18:00 but the key of room can open the hotel door.
and, I noticed that the staff women group do all his best & big effort.
3- Reception is small but have many maps & news
4- No elevator
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
SalzBurg is a City to relax and to live in not for historical tourist or shoping.
Also, You can visit it as a day use trip.
Any way, it has a Fortress (with fee) + Gardens + Old Town + River + Mozart.

the best thing about this hotel is its location as it is not far from the train station as well as the main attractions like the mirabell palace, mozart residents as well as the old town.
the hotel has all the essential facilities, however it gives me an impression of being very old. the staff is quite nice. the hotel offers free breakfast, although simple but very convenient for the travels.
most of the hotels and shops in salzburg close before 7pm. therefore if one checks in after that, there will be no staff in the hotel and one has to go to get bar next door to get the keys which is a bit inconvenient.
there is no wireless, but a slow computer in the common area to check email.
