Loved my little monkish room

Traveling solo, I was in Salzburg two nights. I took a single room with a shared bath. I didn't see a soul. My room was cozy, with a fridge, sink, table, armoir, sweetly painted. The price for this location is a great deal, including breakfast at the cafe next door. Salzburg is intimate and magical museum of a place.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Instead of the pricy bus trip to saltmines and bavarian hills, I took a train with a combo ticket to Hallein. From there a bus goes to the salt mine, all include with the ticket, which you get at the train station OBB. From the hotel walk a few blocks to get a bus (no.1, 3 or 5, i think)across from Mirabelle Palace to the train station.

Great location for small money

Hotel is a little bit old, but partly renovated. Room has very old furniture but it was kind of fun since I came to Salzburg o dive into the history.
Wi-Fi is only on the lobby. It would be no problem but smoking is allowed there so I ahd to be quick.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Old Town and Schloss Mirabell are both just 10 minutes on foot
