Budget clean hotel with scary dude

Room was good. Spacious enough and clean. We had standard room. I requested water kettle, but declined. Good price in Vienna, and there are two supermarkets in front of hotel, but they were both closed on Sunday.
Staff performance was hit and miss. We extended one day, and talked with reception and made sure we would get the same room, but one old male staff knocked our door on our old check-day day, and yell at us saying, "check-out time, OUT! OUT!". I explained that we booked one extra day. He just stared at me for a couple of seconds, said "I go check" and disappeared.
Funny thing was that, during our check-out, one guest was furious at one of the staff, and of course, this guest was mad at the same old scary guy who yelled at us. I have to admit, I felt better. :)
The scary yelling staff took care of our check-out. No apology. No eye-contact. Probably he shouldn't be working at front desk... To be fair, every other staff was great and friendly.

need to add money for air condition???

when I checked in, the staff told me that I needed to add 10euro per day for air condition.It is so ridiculous. Why the room charge is not included air condtion??????
The room is large, and the bed is comfortable. Free Wifi is avaliable, but it is under repair when I checked in.
There are two supermarket just opposite to the hotel.
just 8mins to metro.

Spacious hotel and clean
Spacious, clean, reception staff was helpful.

During the stay the closest underground station was having renovations which made it less convenient to travel around. However, the room is spacious and clean. Wifi didn't work in the room and there was only a fan which made it quite warm during summer. the reception staff were helpful.
