Great location, but the staff were a bit intimidating when I first walked in. However, every helpful with booking the tours. It was quiet noisy at night even though I was staying at 7th floor. Room was spacious, it was not dirty but a bit old.

the hotel is very no-nonsense, great efficiency, extraordinarily good location just minutes from vienna's stephansplatz. neue markt is in it's own right an attraction. rooms are nice and clean and comfortable, service friendly.
Travel tip:
Visit KHM - Kunst Historisches Museum, a gem.

Treat yourself to a cup of coffee in the cafe at the Kunshistorische Museum, probably the finest location of any café on earth.

staff not very welcoming or polite. hotel itself is quite new and location is convenient although room is a bit small. bathroom feels somewhat like a hostel and not very well designed. amenities are generally missing, and have to ask. beds are too soft and gave me a backache.

a very nice stay, the staff made reservations at restauarants, made recommendations, and very helpful regarding transportation: trains, trams taxi's etc.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Call your hotel or email them with your itinerary and confirmation number and have them make reservations before your arrival, for opera and difficult rteservations to insure you can get them. We went out of season and had ssome problems, or better yet make them on websites. get your train tickets when you arrive they are cheaper.

enjoyed our week at the austria trend europa wien hotel very much. most sights are within easy walking distance, less than five minutes from the st. stephan's cathedral. lots of restaurants in the area. got a free upgrade to executive room.

Very comfortable keeping in mind the location, smilly people at the service, very good buffet, very clean.
I would prefer warmer receprion area with lobby and the ability to order a snack or even a dinner, something not available at the moment.
